A co worker gave me one of these box cutters a LONG time ago and I never used it because i thought it was too much trouble. I thought it would be awkward to use. Boy was I wrong. I started using it a few weeks ago and it is now my favorite cutter so much so I ordered 2 more from Amazon just in case I lose the one I have. It doesn't come with replacement blades but for the price if I need more I'll just order the whole cutter. It slips into your back pocket or apron easily. It's not heavy. You don't have to fold it. It pierces and cuts easily. It's really supposed to cut plastic but I use it to open boxes all the time. It's my new go to.

Not very sharp, ok for tape not for cardboard
These are nowhere near as sharp as a standard utility knife. Great for paper and tape, but barely functional for cardboard.
