Quality is good. It is smaller than the dimensions specified. Don't know if it will be water resistant as it is cloth material with a starchy effect.

I took a chance and ordered this for a family dinner 2 days before and it came in time. When I opened it, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, feel and beauty of the material. The size was just as advertised. After the dinner, I threw it in the washer on cold and hung it to dry. It looks brand new and I was very happy that the tassels looked perfect too.

This is a well made beautiful tablecloth that is truly stain resistant. Adorable little tassels around the edge and the stitching is well done. Looks great in my dining room and am so happy with it!
