Averley Suction Placemat with Detachable Feeding Bowl (Light Blue Placemat, Mint Bowl)

We love this product!Our 15-month-old both accidentally and purposely knocks his plates/bowls to the floor. We've tried a regular suction placemat that didn't work at all, and we returned it. This bowl stays put, and he has not managed to get it off despite trying for a solid 30 seconds.I like how the placemat is small, so it fits on his food tray, which is on the smaller side. The bowl is on the small side as well, but I think that's a plus because then there's less food for him to throw around.My one gripe with it, but not worth reducing a star, is it's a little hard to clean and dry. The bottom part's hard plastic casing is full of nooks and crannies that are hard to get at if food gets stuck in them, though that isn't very often. Moreover, there's no clear way to put it on the drying rack (we hand wash) so it drip dries completely. Maybe something for the company to consider for the next version?

I bought this for my granddaughter because she can get any suction plate up! At first I didn't think the suction was a lot better, but I discovered that the trick is to make sure that the surface is really wet. If it's not wet enough, she can get it up. I squeeze a paper towel with water out on the high chair after I have wet the entire tray, until there's a small puddle. It was hard for me to get up! Great product!

My toddler is just learning to use the spoon and have no luck with other suction bowls. He throws away everything but this bowl stay put really well. He has yet to figure out how to lift up this mat! I would recommend this one to the moms out there!

Bowl is awesome. My son loves to turn his bowls over like it’s a game he MUST play during feeding time. The suction is very strong. So strong I can lift my entire table up. My only gripe is that the bowl is on the smaller side. But I’m not knocking the score for that. The strongest suction bowl mat I’ve used and I’ve quite a few

exactly as described!

My toddler eats out of this nicely. He can take the bowl off sometimes if he's near the end of his meal and getting bored, but it's rare. Easy to set up and easy to clean.
