Took a little getting used to. But after a little practice, I found the clippers very useful, the best I've ever had. I'm 81 yrs old. My nails, especially my toenails, have gotten very thick. This clipper trims them with hardly any effort. I used toenail scissors before purchasing this clipper. I always dreaded the job with the scissors. Although costly, it was difficult to trim those thick nails. The clipper made a difficult job much easier. Just have to practice to get used to the design.

These clippers get the job done. These are really sharp and seem to have the heft to deal with thick toenails. You will need a file to fine tune, but these clippers can get into tough spaces without negatively impacting sensitive areas of the toe. Very happy with this purchase.

Be very careful if you are taking a blood thinner because these clippers are awesome but very very sharp. I would recommend and definitely purchase again

much better than expected. Great materials, precision design. I like the handles and spring clip. You have to get used to how much more pressure to use, but you get a nice angled, clean cut. Great product, worth the price. I'll probably loose them before they break.

they are not as sharp as the company claims. and while they *may* be "podiatrist *recommended*" they are certainly not podiatrist *used*. i question, given these false claims, the veracity of the claim that it was "designed in germany."i should return it but it suits my needs so i'll keep it - not withstanding that it is too costly for what is being offered.
