Thoroughly satisfied
Vanicream shaving cream was remarkably effective in making shaving a comfortable experience unlike no other product had for my eczematous dermatitis condition involving my face and neck areas!! I have never written a product review but this was just such a great result that I felt compelled to let others with this diagnosis, know about this one-of-a-kind shaving cream!!

Change the packaging maybe?
if you have sensitive skin this is a must. My dermatologist recommended this to me and I’m so glad she did. The packaging is a little annoying and hard to get the last drop without cutting the tube. Still a great product though

THE BEST SHAVE EVER
I have pretty sensitive skin, eczema and rosacea and everything I try irritates my skin even just a little. My face felt baby smooth and way different than I’ve EVER felt after a shave, and I’ve been shaving for the last 20 years! I know for sure I was able to shave deeper parts of my skin without irritation, even when pulling on my skin. This one smells like rice but not in a bad way. The dimethecone and titanium oxide are truly unique for a shave cream and this must be what sets it apart. Throwing out all my other shave creams!!

Saved my face
I have sensitive skin and was struggling with otc shaving cream. This was recommended by my dermatologist and worked like a charm. No more irritated skin.

3 1/2 stars. Just OK.
Pluses: The cream keeps your face moist and allows a good close shave.Minuses: Kind of expensive compared to canned foam shaving cream. Lasts a small fraction of the number of shaves I got from the canned products. The opening in the tube is kind of small, and it can be kind of a pain to squeeze the cream out. I'm about half way done with the tube, and I can see that I'll probably end up throwing cream away that I couldn't get out of the tube. I'll try to find a product in a jar the next time.Non of these "unscented" products are truly odorless. This one has a vague industrial chemical smell to it. It would be tolerable if there were no container issues. All things considered, I won't be buying it again.

Worst shaving cream I’ve ever used
Worst shaving cream I’ve ever used. I had been using the smoothest shaving cream ever (Cremo; and I’ve tried aaaaall the popular brands for comparison over the years), but went back to making all my own toiletries from real ingredients. I wanted more lather and glide than the Castile/olive oil blend provided, so I ordered this. Somehow, it was worse than the super plain homemade stuff. It gummed up my razor immediately and pulled the hair/skin. I noticed a bit of razor burn the next day. The next time I shaved, I decided to do an experiment and do one leg with this stuff and the other leg with the homemade stuff. The homemade one really was better; no razor burn on that side. I almost marked this 5 stars for the sensitive skin category, but how can it be good for sensitive skin if it leaves you with razor burn? So I gave it a 3 on that since it does have non-toxic ingredients. It does have a smell, but it’s not good or bad and it’s quite subtle. As for sheerness, I don’t understand why that matters for a shaving cream so I left it blank. Lastly, it’s way overpriced, especially considering its terrible quality. This was roughly as effective as shaving with only water. I plan to try what another reviewer suggested and just use their lather-y bar soap.

Great product, but smelly!
I have the most sensitive skin and was recommended Vanicream products. I decided to try this shaving cream. This is a great product, and I have been using it for about a month. It is truly so moisturizing, non-irritating, and I get the closest shave. The only drawback is that it comically smells like fritos or corn chips lol. The odor is pretty strong. I double cleanse in my skincare routine, so to combat the smell, I just save my 2nd cleanse for after shaving to get rid of the product smell. It honestly works great!
