This purchase, in the "Modern" style, is perfect for my new 14-inch high bed frame (with box spring and mattress each 10 inches high). The unit is plenty strong, and "stays put" on my laminate floor when in use, yet it is light enough to easily move aside while changing the sheets, making the bed, or accessing something stored under the bed. And the style is perfectly in tune with both my bed, and with other similarly constructed furnishings in the apartment.The price was good, delivery to the local Amazon Locker was fast, and I had the steps assembled in about 10 minutes. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

steps are very study and I have used them at 210lbs with no worries. On the wood floor it felt like it might slip out from under your feet when climbing into the bed but that was fixed by adding some non slip pads on the bottom. We had some already some so it was a quick fix. That was the only reason for 4 stars and not 5.

Very nice steps and easy to assemble. My mom loves it. I got it for her after surgery and it was perfect and very sturdy.

I HAD to try it...The product claims to be virtually un-tippable, so I gave it a try. That's 225 pounds perched over the top back edge of the top step. If it's gonna tip, that's how to do it. Nope. Very solid and steady.Assembly is pretty straightforward, but includes twenty screws and four screw-in feet, so it takes a while. Once assembled, the step is surprisingly solid.We're using our two for a scary-high king bed, but the step would make an ideal step stool to reach higher shelves, and would be very safe for children to stand on.
