Nice product, comfortable headband; excellent value

These are the best lights. They have 3 different white light levels and a red light for when a softer light might be needed. The head band is very comfortable and nice width that makes stay put. The lamp can be adjusted down so makes if great for needlework or other close work. It also worked great during a power outage. It allowed for easy hands free work and walking. The bonus was the batteries came with them.

Cheap (cost), works well and easy to replace if you use them. Lightweight and adjustable.

Elastic headband is very comfortable. I love that they come with (good) batteries included. Light is bright, with three lighting options. I'm very happy with them.

I purchased these headlamps for week-long backcountry camping trip. I took one and gave my wife the other. It functioned perfectly. Very bright. 4 different light settings. Uses batteries. I apprecaite the bright colored band, which made it easier to find once the sun went down.

Light is bright enough for hiking. Also use it to further illuminate areas when I'm working on my bike or car

There seems to be some confusion about the modes and battery life that this headlamp offers. Some of this is because Energizer makes many different models of headlamps, and some of the information shown in the ad is not about this particular one (Pro / 260 lm). I was impressed overall by the build quality and features; it's a well-designed headlamp and should serve me well. NOTE: there are really only FOUR modes: Red, Normal (3 LED's), Spot (center LED only) and Wide (2 side LED's). Pushing the button cycles between the modes in that order. But the three white modes can be dimmed by HOLDING the switch until the desired light level is reached. It cycles from bright to dim and back again, with little blinks at the maximum and minimum points. I measured the battery drain; here are my measurements with fresh alkaline batteries: Red - 90 mA (approx. 10 hours life with supplied Energizer MAX batteries) Normal - 580 mA at default full brightness (<1 hour life). Dimmed to minimum: 23 mA (36 hours) Spot - 520 mA (about 1 hour). Dimmed to minimum: 62 mA (12 hours) Wide - 240 mA (about 3 hours). Dimmed to minimum: 27 mA (32 hours) Bottom line: This headlamp has lots of adjustability, but you'll only get the long run times if you use the dimmer!
