Great product, really good value for money. Rolls away nicely out the way, needed an extra wide one to divide my kitchen and lounge area and it does the job perfectly. Really easy to install, and use. Only issue I have is my puppy does occasionally try and get over/under it as it’s quite flimsy.. but appreciate it needs to be to be able to retract so not a product issue. It does come with some suction cups which can be clipped to the floor to hold in place but I haven’t tried them yet. Overall really pleased with the item for the price.

This is a high quality item and so easy to install I didn't even need to use the instruction leaflets. The fittings supplied are plentiful, 3 different types to suit whatever you're fitting too, brick, wood or plaster board. Also, they include more than needed incase you lose a screw or simlar. Fits nicely in front of skirting boards due to sliding lower bracket closing. My use is a barrier to keep my Dogs out of the Conservatory and works perfectly. Just wish I'd purchased one sooner.

The idea of these is great and probably perfect if you have smaller less inquisitive dogs than I do, 2 out of 3 of my dogs just climb straight over no trouble at all the 3rd is too lazy!

Decided to buy this to replace my old metal framed inside gate which had aged terribly. Compact design was nice and the fact I can retract the gate when not needed is a bonus. Easy to set up with some small drilling required (came with the needed plugs and screws). Simple to operate and lock in place. When using I would advise keeping a firm grip on the gate as the retraction spring is very strong and you can get things wrapped up if not careful. Simple to fix if your hand does slip though. Overall I was impressed with the product and am enjoying the restoration of the open planned floor in my house. Amazing how one gate can make things seem closed in.

Unfortunately our pomchi puppy can just shimmy her way under this so it's useless!

sadly it hasn't done anything for us. My dog just squeezes under it even when i use the lock and pull it as tight as possible. Very disappointed i'm afraid.

It looks quite nice but isn’t the best quality. It’s nice though that it’s extra long, that’s why we bought it. Very strong pull which is annoying when closing it, especially on a long gap, but is good when a little child or pet tries to get through. Has to be wall mounted as the pull is too strong for glue or similar, comes with two sets to use which didn’t work with our wall but at least it gives options.

I have been incredibly impressed by these gates in the month I've had them. Super easy to install and operate, seemingly durable, and ultimately effective at doing what I wanted them to. I have two gates installed on our patio/walkway immediately outside our front door, which is also very close to our driveway and road. With three kids under 6 and an escape artist puppy we needed a solution that would allow for heavy in/out traffic when we needed and also keep all these small bodies away from the road when our attention is so frequently divided; the results have been amazing! It is so easy to extend and retract this gate and the elegantly designed lock feature makes the flexible mesh sturdy enough to deter those who try to get underneath, even our cats, much to their chagrin. While I don't think the gate is tall enough that I can trust our dog/kids to not attempt to vault over the top if we left them alone with it, it is perfect for helping us enforce this very necessary boundary in conjunction with our supervision. Really for our toddler and smaller dog this gate may as well be prison bars, they've got no chance of escape, and the fact it so effectively deters our medium bodies as well makes this one of my most satisfying purchases in recent memory. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to block off a wider than usual high traffic area from little wanderers, I can't imagine anything better!

I just posted another gate review since we’ve bought a couple to setup in various parts of our house now that our daughter is walking. I love how far this gate stretches, it’s nice to have a retractable one that we can retract when she’s at daycare or asleep. My only complaint is installation. The other gate we purchased came with guides which made it very simple to install. Unfortunately, this gate did not have any guides. For the side that has the gate, it wasn’t too bad to install, just put the mounts on the gate and line it up where you want it and mark where to drill. For the other side where the anchors go, was more difficult. The other wall was about 8 feet away, so I had to pull the gate across and hold it with the mount to mark it and then again for the other mount. Since there was no guide they ended up being a little uneven. Once everything was installed it all worked out, but the guides would have cut the installation time in half.

Works great and I love that when it is open it is compact. No big bulky baby gate that takes up half the room. The only down side is my dog did figure out how to go underneath the gate.

This retractable gate/fence is very long for 120inches which is 10ft. Its plenty wide for most homes and rooms. It was super easy to install. The gate easily pulls out and hooks on for a instant barrier. Quality of the unit is pretty solid and sturdy. The mesh screen is also pretty durable and looks very nice. Highly recommend for homes with kids and/or pets. LOVE IT!!
