DC Comics MAY160364 "Icons Batgirl Of Burnside" Deluxe Action Figure

I’m going to start this review by saying that the DC Icons range of figures is my favourite line of 6” figures ever. Sure, they’re smaller than most DC Direct figures, sure they’ve got the occasional wobbly face sculpt (I’m looking at you Superman), but they are the most comic book accurate, fun, poseable and sturdy figures I’ve ever owned. Check out the group photo up top, they all stand in dynamic poses without any real hassle and they never fall over!Turning to the subject of this review, Batgirl is crown jewel of the Icons line. She is wonderfully sculpted and painted.She comes with a variety of extra hands, a grapnel gun and a windswept head sculpt/horizontal cape (if you want to pose her as though she’s riding the bike rather than it being stationary).The big draw this time around is the motorcycle, I was dubious at first and worried it might be gimmicky and perhaps not sculpted with the same attention to detail and care. This is not the case at all; the bike looks fantastic. The two tyres mount perfectly into the dust clouds, which are connected to the base on pivot joints. This allows you to lean the bike both left and right without it falling over.As it stands, I’ve got her just chilling out on the bike and I think she looks great.One of my top ten figures in my collection; I’m so glad I picked this one up.
