Great piece of equipment
I love this piece of equipment. Bowzo is lightweight and so easily fitted. It also cannot scratch or damage the violin as it's plastic. It is also small enough to pack away in my violin case. I prefer it to a Bow Right that I bought elsewhere that just doesn't sit straight on my violin and is difficult to fit without damaging the violin.

Would not waste my money
The sound of your violin sounds absolutely awful. Waste of money. It puts you off from playing the violin with the bows on on. Mine came straight off and into the dogs basket. Utter rubbish.

Wish I bought it earlier, right when I started
Very useful, easy to fit in and practical. Good looking too. After only a few days I can already notice the difference in my bowing. And my teacher is pleased too.

Worth a try-check with teacher
Seemed to do the job, but teacher disapproved so stopped using it. Expensive

NOT FOR ME
It hasn't really helped me much. It reduces the tone and you can hear rubbing as the horse hair rubs on the plastic. I notice that some people have found it helpful but I personally didn't find it much help.

Good for practice, but try a wall first
A very good aid for keeping your arm straight and helping you to saw the violin at the right place. I would also suggest that you stand with your back against a wall and practice, as this will stop your arm moving backwards and keep it in the correct position (you could try this first before buying this practice aid; I only bought it because I live in a very small park home and don't have a spare wall). Useful to keep in the case for if you notice your arm straying backwards.I would also recommend a metal violin mute as they make the sound quieter that the rubber variety.

This is a great little device I got it for my seven year ...
This is a great little device I got it for my seven year old daughter her fiddle teacher had never even heard of it before but she says she can see the benefits, and she is telling g her other students about it.

The thing itself is a good concept, but I find it has limited use
First of all it arrived in a flimsy envelope with very little padding around it, so when I took it out it was bent out of shape. It just about fits on my violin, but seems tight because if I tried to bend it back out it would snap. When it arrived it already had the tell-tale white-ish line down the middle that happens to plastic when it's bent. So the delivery aspect was very disappointing. The thing itself is a good concept, but I find it has limited use. I can only really use it for warm ups, technical exercises, or scales; sadly, that is not where I needed the help with keeping the bow straight. I can't use it for practising pieces as the rasping of the bow against it is distracting and annoying. (Of course if my bowing was straighter that wouldn't be a problem, but that's the reason I bought this!)My violin teacher gave me a try of another similar bowing aid, which I'll try to get a hold of next. All it was was a piece of sponge that was slotted under the finger board, but it was much easier to play with and didn't produce the same interference if the bow came in contact with it.I thought this would be a quick fix for my weirdly angled bowing (which was naive in the first place), but there's no substitute for good old-fashioned practice it seems.
