I bought this to help my grandson learn how to balance. I hope it will help him when he rollerskates and uses his hover board.

We puchesed this after finding out how important it is to balance your core and what a good, effective exercise this can be. It is adjustable, meaning that the wooden stopping rails can be repositioned depending one how comfortable one gets with using it. The bord is covered with grip tape for extra safety and an easier balancing exercise. The balancing is very effective and I feel like all the muscles are used, I get very sweaty after just few minutes. It is also very fun and challenging and my whole family loves using it now. It help with my back pain as well since it helps with the posture. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I have lifting weights for some time now, but decided to also incorporate balance board into our workouts/exercise sessions as core stability is crucial to except use. The wooden stopping rails can be moved depending on the one using it and their comfort level. Grip tape has been applied to the board to increase safety and make practicing balance easier - surprisingly balance exercises engage a lot of my muscles. It is durable and sturdy.

My daughter absolutely loves this thing. I think it's great for people who like to stay in motion. It is sturdy. I recommend wearing shoes because I'm sure you could tear up your feet and to be somewhere you have space to jump off on either side. This is ideal for apartment living, working from home, kids, a wonderful gift. This is such a neat item!

If you would like a balance board that is sturdy, and well made, yet attracts the gazes of everyone who sees it in your home gym, look no further.I had been interested in adding some balancing exercises to my workouts, and when I saw this board here, I thought I found my choice of equipment.Out of the box, the board and the materials it is made of look great. I really like the design, and even their logo on top of the board.The grip on top is, well, super grippy. You will not slide off of this thing on account of this, for sure. It might be a little bit hard on some peoples' hands when you are using it for push-ups, but that alright.The wood strikes a good balance between weight, and sturdiness, and the lamination will hold up for a long time.The only downside, and maybe that's just me, would be the roller the board rests upon. It is wrapped in a felt like material which would seem to me will actually produce some slippage on concrete, tile, or PVC flooring, which is obviously not good. Maybe some type of rubberized material would have been better. To be honest, this one thing might have brought the rating down to 3 stars, but it seems to so far work alright on my tile floor. You will not have any issue on carpet, and maybe getting some gym squares would make this better.In any case, I do think that it is safe and good to use, and definitely manufactured well to warrant the 4 star rating. If Squatz maybe looks into a better material to wrap the roll in, they will be worth 5 stars without question.

I've been at it with this thing for a while now and I am enjoying the challenge of using it. The balance board has adjustment options so you can start out with a slightly narrower range to the bump stops. This has been helpful as I don't think I could make it long without some range to get used to it. I'm sure your experience will vary based on your own personal balance skill. This thing could take me quite a while to get really good with it, but I can already tell I've gotten a lot better in the few weeks I've been using it. I personally don't have a specific sport I'm trying to get better at. I'm just using it to try to stay in better shape in general and this seemed like a fun way to challenge my body. Since this really works your body core the range of benefits seems almost endless, so give it a go and have fun with it. Just make sure you have a space with lots of room around you until you get the hang of it. Unless you are a surfing or snowboarding wizard you will likely need some space to fall safely and gracefully to avoid injury.

This product is awesome. My 8 year old is completely obsessed with it. It was a tough sell at first because he was nervous but he kept at it and has really gotten the hang of it. He does a lot of activities that require balance (skateboarding, martial arts, wrestling) so this has been so helpful for him. I like that can also use it while watching tv so he’s not totally static and sitting on the couch. The board itself is high quality and sturdy wood. The roller is covered nicely so it won’t damage surfaces, although we’re using it on a rug so that’s not an issue. Just be careful while opening the box if you use scissors or a knife, the product is right near the top, which we discovered when my son sliced a line straight across the top. That’s on us though, because even though we told him to slice lightly and not too deep he’s a kid and we should’ve done it ourselves. Overall, this is a great product and I can’t recommend it enough.
