Better than Original
My Samsung TV remote control (solar) suddenly stopped working after a year. It was not able to hold the battery charge. I bought one of this replacement and it did not disappoint me at all. The buttons are very responsive and even better than the original. It is a great deal for the price and made of good quality materials. It looks and works great. I bought a second one as spare because I know I am gonna keep my TV for a long time. Why would I spend $ 60 to get an original Samsung remote?

Worked right out of the package!!!
I can not believe how awesome this remote is. I know, I know, it just a TV remote but holy schnickies batman... I didn't even need to pair it to the TV, it was all ready to go. I also didn't have to unpair the original remote to use it which is nice because I was worried if I did that and the new one didn't work, well, I would be proverbially screwed so to speak. So if you need this new remote then do not hesitate, and even if you do not currently need it, for the price just get it and always have a backup because the Samsung solar remote that came with your TV is going to fail eventually as it has for so many people across the internet, lol... Just make sure it's the correct model for your tv. BTW, you also don't have to have it pointed at the TV like the original, it just works so much better.

Great replacement for solar remote
Our original remote with solar charger on back quit charging. This has batteries and appears to be just fine

No Continuous Scrolling
The remote is responsive, but has one annoying flaw: when you hold down on direction button (down/up/left/right) it doesn’t keep scrolling. It stops after about a second. So if you want to rewind a YouTube video, you have to keep repressing the left button numerous times. I didn’t see any other reviewers mentioning the same problem so I bought a second one thinking it may have been defective but both remotes do it. I am using it on a Samsung Neo Qled 85inch.

Inexpensive but not perfect.
The remote is great overall. However the voice recognition does not work. That said I have a 55 inch and a 65 inch and this remote works with both. That is not the case with the remotes that came with the TV. So again overall I'm very happy with this remote.

It’s an exact replacement!
With the exception of the Amazon smiley and the Disney “+” symbols missing (most likely copyright issues), this remote is an EXACT replication of the Samsung remote that started to fail. NOTE - this uses AAA batteries and is NOT ‘solar powered’. Our factory remote quit after 1-year. Samsung factory replacement was $106!! Thankfully I thought about Amazon Prime and got THIS gem for $17, delivered the next day!! Took it out of the box, dropped on two AAA batteries, pointed the remote at the TV and pressed the power button. The TV came on, the sound bar (Samsung) came on and our life was back to NORMAL. YES!!
