Sniper SN-701T Truck Nav with latest UK and Europe Maps, 7″ Sat Nav for Truck, Lorry, HGV, LCV, Motorhome, Caravans

An excellent piece of kit, i am extremely impressed with this sat nav, it does it all really with lots of usefull information displayed on the 7" screen, the processor is super fast and the display is crisp, once you customise it to your own requirements ( sound & information Display) it is nice to work with & User friendly.first 3 days use it took me to the front door every time without any issues, not bad as i had a 16' 1" trailer on and so bridge avoidance & truck routing was essential.also impressive is that this is not just for us truckers, it has car car & Caravan car & Trailer options too so it is extremely useful to the average motorist and towing, something like a glider trailer could be calculated and the best route options given, ( the 5" screen would be best for car users)price...... it is excellent value for money, just look at tom tom prices and you will see you get a lot for your buck.customer services answered the phone in 2 rings and dealt with my query in less than 3 minutes ~ excellent

For the UK ideal, to input postcode you need to click on the "find" icon and the Town.This is the third one I have bought, cheap and cheerful, one downside is that you need to dismiss alternative routes and no HGV's except for access, becomes a little arduous.All in all not bad.

I haven’t set the item up for use yet, and feel it has been a return re issued, some of the components loose in the box not in packets and evidence of previous handling.Let’s see if it does what the description says.

I bought this for a new job to assist me on timed deliveries. I've been HGV driving for many years and never had timed deliveries I have now used this for five shifts and it's worked perfectly. Very easy to set up with weight, height, length of vehicle and so far it has never attempted to send be down a road I don't belong. I have been on two road closure diversions and the navigation has recalculated perfectly. I fail to see how some Sat Navs that cost 3 or 4 times the money could be better. I've only used it as navigation so I cannot comment on the host of other features it comes with. So Far So Good.

It supposed to be a HGV satnav and it wouldn’t allow you to search your destination through only one of two options “house number” or “intersection”… so basically if you are set to collect a load from a farm or industrial estate… you need to put some effort to find the nearest house or intersection and navigate to there then finish the route using google map.

I bought this after reading all the reviews and I don't understand what other people where on about that there isn't any way of using post codes which wasn't the case at all. After 2 weeks of using it did loose its navi path but after speaking with the sniper team 3 working days later they had sent me a new SD card and it is working fine again. Excellent quality for a fraction of the price of other Truck Nav's I do recommend this product massively. You can put length size and weight of the vehicle into its dimensions so you can avoid all bridges and width restrictions.

Brill plans your route away from bridges etc it’s Bluetooth you can play your music through it nxt generation of sat navs xx

Bought this as a new class 1 driver. The first week of using it, although I put in the correct height and width settings it didn't detect a low bridge in front of me. I had to stop and reverse back up the road onto a roundabout ( no fun when your a new driver!). It then took me through a small village and told me to make a turn the trailer wouldn't clear. After 3 weeks it kept switching off or freezing. I bought a different satnav in the end.
