Duryeo2PCS Deep Point Blades, Replacement Cutting Blades Compatible with Cricut Explore Air 2/ Explore 3/ Maker and Maker 3

Does what its suppose to do and it works with my Cricut Explore Air 2!!

I was worried about getting a brand that was not Cricut, but these work great! Will definitely buy more when needed.

They do not cut well at all after a few uses. Even sharpening with foil did not help. Deeper cut just doesn’t help either!! Would not buy again!

My wife loves her Cricut Maker 3, and she was very pleased when I asked her to test this pair of 'Duryeo 2PCS Deep Point Blades' for me. Apparently the blades fit the Cricut blade holder just as well as the official blades do. She has tried cutting a number of designs out of various different materials, including thin faux leather, some thick cardstock, and several colors of the HTVRONT brand of glittery vinyl. So far, the blade has worked extremely well, and she says it seems to be at least as sharp as the official Cricut ones, possibly cutting even more cleanly. This means there yet another 'offbrand' item she can buy in the future, which is good news. The price of this pair of blades is considerably less than the official brand. So, in the words of my wife, don't worry about the unusual brand name, just save yourself some money and buy the Duryeo blades instead.

The seller has both the fine point blade and the deep point blade under the same listing so some of the reviews are for the different types of blades. The one that I am reviewing is the Deep point blade. Not to say that this isn’t a nice product, because it is, but the fine point blade is what all the Cricuts come with. It is meant for paper, cardstock and vinyl and the like. This is a deep point blade which is meant for cutting more solid materials like thin magnets, chipboard, balsa wood, etc. These are two different type blades. This is like the medium thickness blade. Typically, the deep point blade has a 65 degree angle to the blade vs. the 45 degree blade for the fine point. For the Cricut Explore series of machines, it would use the black housing. It can also be used in the Cricut Maker series. Make sure you pick the correct one for what you are planning on making.This product came well packaged. At first glance, you wouldn’t know that it isn’t Cricut brand. The packaging looks very similar. The two deep point blades come in a little clear tube and also comes with a black tip protector just like the Cricut brand. It cuts fine as well. I have a hard time telling this blade and the Cricut brand blade apart. Cricut 2 pack deep point blades are about $17.50 without any discount. These are about half that. For the price, it’s a good deal.

I ordered these as backup for my vinyl cutter and during the installation I ended up confused as to which one was the factory one and which was the new one I just received. It is just as sharp if not sharper than the original one that came with my machine and it installs all the same. I can turn my cut speed up 2X even on detailed work and it cuts every spot flawlessly. Great product highly recommend.

I tried these cutting blades for my Cricut Maker and haven’t been able to tell much difference between these and the brand name replacement blades. They state that they are made of carbide so they should stay sharp under normal use. The blades fit in my blade holder with no trouble and no slippage so they are the correct size for the blade housing. I am happy with these blades and how they perform with my craft projects that require precision cutting.
