It has a built-in light detecting device, which can distinguish daytime with nights, to make sure that it keeps standby at daytime and ready to light at night. Apart from this, a body heat releasing infrared ray detector is in the middle of the light bar. It can detect infrared ray in its induction distance of 3-5 meters and induction angle of 120 degrees. It is an amazing design. You do not have push any switches or buttons, when you walk into its area, it turns on; after you leave the area, it keeps on for 15 seconds, still lighting your way, and then turns off itself. The 15-second auto off design is quite considerate, which can not only save energy but also light your way until you walk back to your room or another area. Note: Due to the in-built light detecting device, at daytime or under strong light, it may not work. We suggest using AAA alkaline high energy battery or rechargeable battery, instead of ordinary alkaline battery. The operating temperature must be between -5℃~38℃. The light is not water proof, so please keep it away from wet environment, lightning and low temperature. Please do not put it in places like beside the window, where light changes clearly, which may cause false operation.
