Q: As the bin has no inner bin, if I line the bin with a bin liner, can the top of it be hidden under the lid? Thanks.

Yes there is a black plastic rim which lifts out to put the top of bag round put it back on top of bin perfect.

Q: has the bin got a guarantee?

No and my lid stopped working after 13 months and when I contacted dihl customer service they would only offer that I buy a new lid at over half the price of the bin. So expensive for limited life

I use the standard swing bin bags liners.
