I've had scalp issues since I entered my teen years. This detox scalp stuff works. It does dry out my hair until I get around to washing it again, but after the second detox my scalp felt so clean. You have to be careful to not put any metals in it so I keep a wooden spoon by it so I don't make that mistake. Metals will deactivate it. Very pleased with it! Will use as needed from now on.

I have gray hair in good condition, but I had been plagued with yellowing on top of my head. I had tried all the shampoos, etc. but nothing worked to remove the yellow. Thankfully I read about this and IT WORKS! As others have suggested it is helpful to watch the how-to video on the MM website. This is my summary: one jar will give you three treatments, I used distilled water and made it thick enough to scoop up in my hand and not drip. After applying to my hair I put on a disposable shower cap, then I applied to my face and spritzed with water to prevent the mud from drying. I kept it on for 45 minutes. I did this once a week for three weeks and ordered my second jar. While I am sure it is good for my face I *really* noticed a huge improvement in my hair texture and brightness. This product is definitely worth trying for any condition you are facing.

My hair felt dry after using. Took a couple of washes to wash the "dry stickiness" out. I now use it as a face mask and it's okay.

I have liked. Using this once a week. I am on week five so I am going to use monthly. Does well with my fine short hair.

This really just felt like bentonite clay. High priced, bentonite clay with a brand name. No instructions came with it in the box or on the container; I looked online for some. Still didn't do it correctly and ended up with clay all in one spot on my head. Took a long time to get it all rinsed out. Weird. I would have expected that from my container of bentonite ... not from a product with a fancy name.

I've been using Morrocco Method shampoos for more than a month now. I was looking for a 100% natural solution for my hair loss, and also trying to combine it with resource preservation. So far, my experience has been very positive and I'm looking forward to see the results in 3 months. The Detox is being great for the adjustment period my hair has been going through: I used it 3 times over 3 weeks, and it really cleaned my hair.Would not leave it for 1 hour in my hair though, even though it was recommended online - the porosity of my hair increased too much.It was also very good for my facial skin as a mask.

Absolutely love this product! I went 'no poo' about 5 months ago and was looking for an all natural shampoo. I found the products of Morrocco Method. Perfect for 'no poo-ers' that also want to restore the health and good condition of their hair. I bought the shampoo's as well and I'm still going through detox but the Zen Detox really helps! It's a bit tricky to apply to your scalp and roots because it gets hard and made my hair quite tangled, but after rinsing it out it was full, thick, shiny and felt amazing! I love the Zen Detox and I will buy it again!Also, I did a lot of research before buying, I really looked into Morrocco Method. I suggest other people do as well, so you know what you're getting yourself into. It's hard to quit using bad shampoo's that are filled with chemicals and stuff that ruins your hair, but it will be worth it in the end. Do your research, there are some bad reviews on here that say 'it didn't lather', yes that's because it's all natural, vegan and raw haircare. It's all explained on the website of Morrocco Method so educate yourself about what you're about to put in your hair!

Powerful Stuff! It does what it promises. Careful though if you're chronically ill and quite a toxic person (like me) and start slowly.i left it on for 2 hours and had quite a reaction afterwards with high fever, headache and nausea! If I leave it on shorter I only get a bit of a headache, so I'd recommend starting with 30 mins and then work your way up too the full time.

I live in a very hard water area, and had decided to go no poo. I hadn't realised how difficult this would be, given our water! This product got all the gunk from my hair, and left it soft and grease free after the first application, and inspired me to continue with my shampoo free decision. It is very expensive, but I will buy it again, to use monthly, as I found it so good - in between using this, I use bentonite or rhassoul clay to wash my hair; these both work well in hard water areas, and have a good detoxing effect on hair, scalp, and body!

It is a bit too thick to really use properly as a hair mask, the consistency is not dissimilar to really thick mud. I like to use it as a face mask though and it seems to work well for that.
