The Egg

I bought this to use in class as part of a Dragons topic for Y1 pupils. The children absolutely loved the book and were able to use the front cover to make predictions before trying to guess what was in the egg and where they would go when they flew away together. Both boys and girls loved it (as did I) and I would highly recommend it as a text.

This was not what I was expecting. Perhaps there is an adult book called The Egg but this isn’t it. My mistake? I passed it on to a 6 year old.

I am very disappointed- whilst used it stated in the description very good condition, however the book is ripped and has scribbles all over it. More importantly it had labels stating property of xxx public library, not convinced this is something that should have been sold to be honest.

Great book with lovely illustrations. Came next day. Used as a literacy aid for year two and they really enjoyed it.

Beautiful story with excellent illustrations. Our Preschool had this told to us during national storytelling month. We are now making our own story sack with books and props, puppets etc for the children to use.

Lovely book, my son enjoy it so much. It was part of the curriculum in the school too.

Nice book. You need to fill in the story in between.
