Got several of these in order to preserve our new laminate floor by stopping furniture from leaving scratch marks.You get two appr. 109mm x 152mm pads per pack. These are roughly 5mm thick and made of heavy duty felt.As others have said you'll need either large and/or decent scissors to cut them because the material is very dense and robust. I wouldn't recommend using a Stanley knife as the blade slips easily instead of punching through the felt.The self-adhesive seems to be strong enough, and the pads adhere to furniture legs (plastic, chipboard, wood etc.) nicely. Once these have been applied, you can easily push even heavier beds or wardrobes into place as the felt glides on laminate.We also tried another make of felt floor protectors that cost more (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NP8DP88), but those were a letdown because of the soft material and smaller pads.

Hard backed felt sheets to cut to size .Great to stop furniture scratching wooden floors.

High quality, good adhesion to the feet of our sofa, doesn't feel like it will come off any time soon while pushing the sofa around our wooden floor. Quite thick so a bit tricky to cut, but the thickness is why I bought it, so all good. Just need a good pair of scissors. Would buy again.

useful as you can cut to size. Great for a table that doesn't move often but the glue will only last a couple of months on chair legs

These are pretty tough and thick sheets, which is just what I needed to protect a new (very expensive) oak floor. After making a pattern for the kitchen table feet from cardboard I used a marker pen to draw the shape onto the pads, I got two pads per sheet, it took several cuts to cut out each pad (if you have heavy duty shears these might work better) I sanded clean the upended feet of our much loved large extendable heavy oak pedestal table fitting the new pads using only self adhesive surface. The table now glides easily across the floor with no sign of scratching our new floor and the pads remained secure in position. So a very good, inexpensive and easily fitted product, Recommend

This item works for a majority of uses, however it doesn't work as a floor protector for chairs

Purchased for dining room furniture legs as have installed laminate flooring. It is quite thick and does need sharp sturdy scissors especially as my hands ar a bit arthritic. However it sticks well and very happy with product.

Easy to cut / customise

Great floor protection! I have these in all shapes & sizes. There is nothing worse than a gouge or scratch from the movement of chairs, bar stools & furniture; I have put these under everything that sits on my hardwood flooring. Great protection, but also makes moving the furniture a breeze!

great product! I used it in heavy duty area for nice period of time to protect floor sticks very strong I would recommend this or/and buy it again (just make sure to clean/sand the place where you stick it)
