bad packing leads to significant damage
good basic product, but only buy it if you are good at fixing things

Poor packaging
First I was surprised to find this is all plywood construction and comparable to name brand semi-custom cabinets. But the packaging is poor. Only a standard thickness cardboard box, nothing else. Most cabinets are packaged with at least some kind of foam or cardboard corner protection. This is soft pine and as a result of no corner protection all the corners were dinged in a little, and one hinge was broke loose. Fortunately I am installing this in an out of the way place surrounded by beadboard, so it will not be that noticeable. But if I was installing it on the wall at eye level next to other cabinets, this would not be acceptable.
