Wrong instructions. Wrong measurements for installation. Impossible to install without correct measurements.

I ordered four (4) of these. Three (3) are working okay as of installation. One (1) is doing nothing. Okay, okay - - - maybe it is slowing the door down a little, but not much. Makes me wonder just how long the ones that are working so far will last. I guess I'll order another two (2) and hope that one of them works. Don't really want to do that but I want all of them to match. edit 3 days later: 50% percent failure. I have revised my rating to one (1) star. I ordered another set of these gas struts and - worse than I feared above - both of them are crap. One fails completely and one will hold the door open only halfway. To make matters worse, the ones I had installed that I thought were operating okay are inconsistent to the max. After opening/closing them a few dozen times they have started acting erratically. They hold open to a different position each time. Sometimes all the way open, sometimes 3/4 open - - but never the same. These doors are small and only about 3 pounds each so the weight should not be a factor. I am returning these and will try another brand. Fingers crossed because all of these things look like clones of each other so I think it's a crap shoot.
