Replacement Shaver Head for Series 9000 & Prestige S9000 Precision Blades

These original Philips heads for my 8000 series Norelco electric shaver work great. They fit perfectly and most importantly make my shaver cut like new. They cost more than the knock offs, but most importantly have a 2-year replacement cycle, and 2) have double the cutting heads of the knock offs. If you look closely at the pictures of the knock offs then compare them to these heads, you will see that these heads have double the number of cutters. I would buy these replacement heads again.

We didn't realize that there were replacements for these shavers! We bought these instead of buying a whole new shaver...because we thought that was what people did. Took less than 5 minutes to replace everything and it works like new. So yes, we would definitely recommend buying these and changing it. Easy peasy!

They do shave a lot better than my previous heads that were SH70- the SH heads without the two protruding nubbins (SH90, 91,70,71,60,61) are interchangeable between various shavers that use them, so you don't have to stick to the lower-end heads if you have a different shaver. These blades are original and new. They do shave noticeably closer than SH70, maybe even too close. For best results you should run them for a few minutes dry before first use to get rid of any oxidation, and the lubricate them before first use. The also have a break-in period of about a month after which they shave much better than straight out of the box. Also to extend their life do what I did and number each stator and its corresponding rotor with a knife or needle, so that they are a pair and go back together after each cleaning- this will ensure that any surface imperfections of the rotor are conformed to by its corresponding stator as the head wears and are not propagated to the other pairs (this is what they call "self-sharpening", the blade wears in a way that makes it conform better to the cup, and cup wears in a way that conforms to the blade). Alternatively, when cleaning remove and clean the pairs one by one so they don't get mixed up. Also washing the shaver with a Waterpik makes it shave really well and I highly recommend it. The SH50/51/30/31 have the two nubbins and won't fit shavers that don't have space for them (and SH60-91 might not work in some of these shavers due to the lack of nubbins), and the RQ heads are a bit smaller than SH. EDIT: After less than a year (10 months), they don't shave too well. I don't know what happened to Phillips blade quality, but they used to last over two years. Or maybe my facial hair got thicker?

The last set of replacement shaver heads my wife bought off of Amazon led her to believe that they were genuine Philips/Norelco, but my suspicions arose when the packaging had zero brand identification on them. After suffering for year plus having my shaver feeling like it was plucking the hairs from my face, I decided to buy another set of replacements. THESE are the REAL DEAL, and my shaver operates like brand new again! So thankful!

Every day I use this Philips replacement shaver head with my 6 year old S9733 shaver, I am pleased with the results. It is like buying a new shaver for a third of the price. Smooth, close, comfortable shave. I wish I had not waited so long to buy this.

The originals, as long as these are available they are the only ones I will use. I bought a cheaper set by mistake thinking they were true replacements. The shave was no better than the ones I was replacing after 15 months or so. I popped these in and the shave was as close as when the shaver was brand new. I tossed the cheaper ones in the trash.

Calidad: Se nota que son las cuchillas SteelPrecision originales. He probado compatibles baratas en el pasado y acaban irritando la piel; con estas, cero rojeces. Instalación: Encajan perfectas y es muy sencillo cambiarlas. Conclusión: Aunque el precio pueda parecer alto para ser un recambio, merece la pena totalmente para alargar la vida útil de una máquina de esta gama.

3ème achat, toujours satisfait et identiques aux originaux. Moi je les achètes pour mon rasoir de la série 7000 car il y a beaucoup plus de lames et de grilles de rasage alors que le prix des lames pour la série 700 est identique en magasin belges ou français. Pensez-y, l'avantage est considérable en efficacité et prix.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this considering some reviews mention fake blades, but i took the plunge and bought them and am really glad that i did. Fit my old 9000 series shaver that had SH90 blades in it and boy has it made a difference. Before my neck hairs were absolutely impossible to shave off with the electric razer, but with these new blades it cuts them so effortlessly i'm really impressed. No more spotty shaving, not to mention it shaves much faster now too. All in all i'm very happy with these blades, my shaver feels even better than it was new. Get these if you need new blades
