Rolson 12108 20oz One Piece Splitting Hand Axe Hatchet Splitter Outdoor Camping Professional,Yellow/Black

Bought as a present for my teenage grandson, with his parents permission. He loves it and enjoys using it to split logs into kindling for me. He finds the weight good and likes the hammer too.

Really nice axe, well made / good build quality. The flat rear surface opposite to the blade makes it easy to use the axe with a short handle sledge hammer to chop kindling. My only gripe is that it was supplied with a very blunt edge and took quite a bit of sharpening to get to the point that it was effective. I can guess at the why this is the case, but it should be flagged in the product description.

This axe is idea for every outdoor camping an indoor shaving just sharpen it and it takes nails out easy an can bust a door down if there’s a emergency ten out ten quality strong an feels great in the hand would buy two if needed but one is ideal

Great weight well balanced, very sharp, ideal for camping and jobs around the orchard. Comfortable in the hand. Although it comes with a blade protector it would be better with a holster to protect the complete head.

Excellent weight and balance, not so heavy that it makes your forearm ache, but heavy enough to do the job.It actually looks pretty cool as well.Seems sturdy, and has a nail-puller in the blade.
