Great rail. I've got it im to work with mafell saw and rail set that I've got. Works as food as mafell

Makes straight cuts very easy with the compatible circular saws. Seems durable after a fair amount of work - the rubber still looking good. Benefits from a spray of WD40 every so often to keep the saw moving easily over the rail. (wipe the rail down to catch excess fluid or saw dust will stick)One thing to be mindful of is what you're going to use the guide rail for - 1100mm is unwieldy for chopping 9x3s but wonderful for cutting boards so consider a shorter rail if you're cutting joists to length.When new, the rubber liner will extend beyond the blade - make a few cuts on scrap wood down the full length of the rail before using in anger or you won't line up your cuts correctly.

Compact in size saves time for smaller cuts. Great versatile rail.

Expensive for what it is but I needed it.Delivery service..poor. Order said delivery on Wednesday. Email received Tuesday morning to say it would arrive that day before 10pm. Tracking said delivery between 15:30 to 18:30. Then revised to 13:30 to 15:30. Tracking showed it 7 stops away. Then the tracking warned of delays because of extra deliveries but it would be delivered before 10pm. Package arrived at 18:30.

The Bosch/Mafell rail system is a joy to use. It is far superior to the fest/makita/dewalt/triton rail system. They join faster, easier and more accurately than the others and can even use Mafell's Aerofix vacuum suction clamping when screw clamps aren't viable or you need to fix rail to vertical surfaces to cut.The quality control on these rails always impresses each time I buy.Though I use Mafell tools I save money by purchasing the Bosch branded FSN rail, VEL connector, clamps, stops etc. that are IDENTICAL in every way to what Mafell uses/sells except for the ink printing.

Great guide rail for circular saw. Used to cut shelves and to trim small slither off bottom of wooden daws where security and precision are needed.My only gripe is that Amazon should improve online documentation on how products work with each other. This should have been suggested as an option when i bought the saw. But the two items do not reference each other.

I have a Mafell track saw and tracks. Bought this as a handy short track and it is identical to the Mafell items. Perfect.

This is an essential extra if you saw sheet or long bits of wood regularly or if you want a really accurate cut.My Bosch circular saw fits and follows the guide rail and as long as the guide is precisely positioned and clamped in place then an accurate cut is virtually guaranteed. Not all Bosch circular saws fit so check that yours is compatible though.
