Honestly, best I've owned.
I only needed the essential items, but was really impressed by the cloth and the box. Cloth can be used for precise cleaning of metals needing polish. The box is outstanding appearance and quality. Minor negative is it is tight fit. Uchiko Ball is maybe not top quality, but I'm not complaining.

Great Price and Oil Smells Nice
Really nice starter kit for sword care. The choji oil smells pleasant too, I actually look forward to using it! I feel like the bottle it came with is going to last a long time. Definitely worth the price.

A good cleaning kit, shipping was slow.
First things first, this took 12 days from the date I ordered until it was actually shipped, I almost cancelled the order. If it weren't for the delay I'd give it 5 stars. Comes with everything you need to maintain a katana, the oil smells like cloves so I'm reasonably certain it's the correct oil for the job. The box is nice, but could be slightly bigger, everything is packed inside pretty tight and barely fits. It came with a good amount of oil, if you're maintaining a single sword it'll probably last several years and the spray bottle makes it easy to add just the right amount of oil to the cloth. I have a neighbor who needs a new kit to clean his katanas so there's a good chance I'll be ordering another one of these in the near future. Hopefully it'll ship a bit faster next time.

Crucial for maintaining high-quality steel.
I have used this brand of sword maintenance for years. I have re-ordered this several times. I have a sword collection that I take care of with this deoxidizing powder. It keeps the edges, razor sharp. As a matter of fact, the sword seem sharper every time I maintenance them (which is every 30 days). The oil keeps any rusting blocked solid. Highly recommend for those who care about their high quality steel

Neat little travel kit
This little travel kit has all the "traditional" maintenance & repair essentials. The kit does smell of cloves, so I do suspect that it might possibly leak. I try to keep mine sitting with the bottle pointing up, to minimize any loss. I use my kit as an early fall, September prop display and there hasn't been any oily mess found anywhere, just the pleasant smell of clove oil. I have a different set of tools that I prefer to use instead of those provided within this kit. Corrosion-X is my preferred metal treatment for bare steel, but CLP or petroleum jelly will also work well. Petroleum jelly is a greasy mess, Corrosion-X stinks (but works best), and CLP has a very distinctive odor that isn't entirely unpleasant. So don't be shocked (if/when it is left out) that you find Marines using it as a dipping sauce, whenever CLP is found in close proximity with crayons.. ..It's like cookies and milk to them.. But aside from snacks, this little travel kit would make an excellent addition to any "Welcome Aboard" katana gift package - by itself or along with a standard, simple, sword stand and a (carry strap) sword bag. Whether you want one for a prop (like I do), or you plan to use it as intended, these little travel kits are pretty dang neat..

Amazing sword cleaning kit
Great quality I thought it would have the bamboo pegs but it didn’t but everything else is awesome and the cloth is bigger than what I expected overall it’s amazing. It is worth the money

Great!
Came exactly as pictured. The powder ball was in a bag so as not to spill out in the box, the oil was closed tightly no leaking, everything fits back in the box rather easily, it's nice they included a few extra wooden pegs in case you need to replace and everything including the carrying box is sturdy and well made. Very pleased

Great Product!!

Very poorly made, the threading on the brass mallet is too loose and the head keep following off when used even lightly. The other elements are small and seem used or poorly packed.

I ordered 2 custom swords from this seller. I did make a fair amount of changes - but the seller wasn't honest from the get go. I asked for custom tips on both swords and was charged for this. The work was not done. I asked for hishigami wrap under the handle - again charged but not done. I asked for a leather handle on one sword, again charged but not done. I paid $50 usd for custom 'engraving' which is the poorest quality etching I have ever seen. My $4 keychain from AliExpress was better quality. One Saya was way too tight, and the other was so loose the sword would just fall out. But the worst part was the handle. The handles were not tied properly to the pommel if the sword - so on a sword that it 'fully functional' they used a small dab of hot glue. I took a proper grip and swing, and the pommel completely detached. The seller would not refund without me paying $60 shipping. So I am out $60 and get absolutely nothing.
