Thor: Ragnarok The Official Movie Special Book (MARVEL)

I ordered this "movie special" book because I loved Thor:Ragnarok, even though I wasn't sure what I was getting. It turns out to be a magazine that is hard-bound - like one of those film exclusive issues EW releases. Unfortunately, the production values are the same.The paper inside is the same as a magazine off the rack, with that rippling that can occur along the bottom edge. I tried to capture that in the pics I took. There's no dust jacket; the image is printed directly on the boards.The content is also what you would find in a magazine special issue, but expanded a bit more.There are brief interviews with all the principal cast and overviews of the characters as they enter the story. There are many pictures of behind the scenes, some images from the finished film, but also some concept art sprinkled throughout. There's nothing groundbreaking here, and very little you probably couldn't find online in other interviews or articles.The price is high for the quality and content you're getting - this book should be $10. Still, it's a nice commemorative book for a film I really loved so I have it four stars. Good for a Thor or Loki fan, but probably not of much interest to a casual fan.

Being me in the Norwegian, I love the story. Great graphics, slim hardcover, could be a little beefier.

Really love this book. Tons of lovely photos and great information from behind the scenes of my absolute favorite Marvel movie of 2017, “Thor : Ragnarok.” And Loki? So yummy, as usual. 😍💚💚💚

I loved this because its like a hard cover magazine with interviews from ALL the main cast! Tom Hiddleston, Hemsworth, Taika, Jeff Goldblum, and many more!

I am a big Marvel fan, this was a great addition to my collection. I only buy these items from Titan

La revista vino con varias páginas rotas, de afuera es de tapa dura y parece de buena calidad pero adentro las páginas son muy finitas.

C’est un livre très complet de 96 pages, en anglais, qui a été concocté par l’éditeur. Il débute par un entretien avec les principaux acteurs du film. Les photos sont magnifiques et les dessins préparatoires présentés sont tout simplement sublimes.Vient ensuite la présentation des différentes figures régnant sur des mondes tels Asgard ou la planète Sakaar, comme le Grand Maitre ou Skurge, ainsi que les caractéristiques de ses habitants.On découvre le design imaginé pour les costumes, dévoilé par des dessins préparatoires sur les personnages et la représentation des gladiateurs dans l’arène de combat.Il se termine par un entretien avec Taika WAITITI, le réalisateur du film, avec des images qui dépeignent les coulisses du tournage.En conclusion, un excellent bouquin, qui permet de plonger au cœur de la création d’un film à nul autre pareil.Indispensable pour tout fan.

Por desgracia, el libro de arte de Thor: Ragnarok está descatalogado de todo internet. Es muy complejo encontrarlo, si es que se puede. Por suerte, Amazon vende esta reliquia que, en esencia, es como una pequeña porción de ese libro de arte. Aquí puedes ver diseños de personajes, escenarios e imágenes de tomas falsas y descubrir secretos del rodaje en su lectura. Tiene muy buena calidad y es de pasta muy dura.
