First there wasn't a silica as opposed to other products that always put one, I guess it would help the product to breathe and not smell mouldy when first opened.It takes way more time to apply than other powders I bought, as I spend most of the time trying to remove the small lumps of fiber from my hair that actually looks like you've got insects in your hair...charming.
