The Christmasaurus: The Musical Edition: Book and Soundtrack Hardcover – 16 Nov. 2017

I have bought several of these books, with the music CD's, for our Grandchildren & Children to read together on the run-up to Christmas, throughout December.🎄☃️🎁✨️My Grandchildren are aged from 1 yrs up to 12 yrs. With 5, 6, 7 and 9 being the mid range. I think the 8/9 year old could read it alone, but I think the family experience will make it much more enjoyable for everyone.🙏🏼 it has gorgeous black and white illustrations throughout and under the dust jacket is a beautiful surprise too.😍Debbie, 1970, UK

Such a great book for kids! My daughter can't read it yet but loved listening to it read- and we also have the audiobook that we have listened through all CDs in the car 4 times through now. We LOVE the songs especially! (Its a shame they arent on Amazon Music etc!....)The one thing I would say is that for smaller kids, 'the Hunter' part is pushed to the almost unnecessary suitability line- in the story and the song. It's a bit graphic, and talks a lot about killing things for sport and descriptive. My daughter didn't like this element. I understand there needs to be a 'baddy' in a book like this- but perhaps this want a little too far on the concept, especially the song which has bits in I probably wouldn't want a kid going around singing! And the concept of hunting/ killing the reindeers etc. Just to warn others!However- we did think it was a brilliant book and love Tom's writing! Really well written and the songs are perfect. Can we have the Musical on stage back please?!

This book and cd did not disappoint even my daughters class mates are loving having the cd on in the car. It’s such a shame we can’t buy the music on iTunes or Spotify to listen to it in the house at Christmas. (A lot of us don’t own a CD player anymore 🙈) So Tom if you see this please release it onto iTunes or Spotify. I know loads of mums wanting to purchase.Thanks

This is a magical work of art!!! The music, the book and the integration of them both are brilliant. Tom Fletcher is a creative powerhouse who skillfully created a wonderful world and story that is fresh and exciting for children, their parents AND their grandparents too! I bought one of each of these for my grown children’s families. My grandchildren range from 8 to 3 and all of them loved the story as well as the illustrations and music. The 8 yr. old can read it to her younger brother and the younger kids love their parents reading it to them at bedtime. There were no arguments with my grandson about bedtime when he was reminded that they would read another chapter of The Christmasaurus before lights out. I’m certain this will become a new Christmas (or anytime) tradition. The cd is a family affair with performances by Tom, Tom’s wife Giovanna and Tom’s sister Carrie Fletcher. What a talented family! The performances are fabulous! Sweet, exciting, touching story + enchanting illustrations + spot on music = Creative Genius Tom Fletcher!!!

Very much enjoyed reading this to my 7 year old son. Full of so much energy, action and Christmas! We have loved listening to the cd of songs that accompanies this edition, well worth the extra investment. The story is perhaps just a little bit too long and could have been tied up a little sooner but would definitely recommend.

**This book is fantastic!** It is a wonderful story, beautifully written and will hold the fascination and attention of the reader from beginning to end. Having the CD in addition to the book is fabulous. The songs are fun, reflective and very catchy (be prepared for an ear worm!). I hope they eventually make this into a movie or a theatre show. I am forecasting this to be a bestseller. I was told about this book by my mum in Scotland who bought it for her dinosaur crazy great granddaughter (5) and she is over the moon. I am raving about this far and wide in Canada and trying to encourage people to buy it.
