Benjamin Zephaniah: My Story: Band 17/Diamond (Collins Big Cat)
S**A
Honest, moving and upbeat autobiographical sketch
Benjamin Zephaniah tells his story in a modest, light-hearted way but the message is deceptively strong. Here is a man who followed his convictions and became a writer against the odds, who has inspired millions to live more ethically, and who continues to explore new forms of self-expression. Though it is simple enough for a child to understand the story of Benjamin's life, it is also deep enough to demonstrate that, with courage, anyone can reinvent himself or herself, and anyone can change their life for the better.

The content. Loving it.
I have not read it yet as my grandson loves anything written by Benjamin Zephaniah so we encourage him. It's so unusual to see children reading books and not and not on an electronic device.

Very Childlike
Didn't realise it was written for children but it is still OK

The essential background to one of Britain's best known poets.
A short but concise description of the life of the poet and writer Benjamin Zephaniah. My son, who is ten, read it on his own as he really enjoys Benjamin Zephaniah novels but i enjoyed reading it too.
