Yes this material does fray but you could overlock or zigzag around the cut edges.

It's 60 inches wide and as long as you order, so if you order 1 meter it's 1 meter long

Excellent quality

I am very pleased with the quality of this fabric! Sometimes ‘satin’ can be rather firm and not silky at all, or ver flimsy. Not only is this very soft, but it is a good thickness. I have purchased a second batch and may well consider other colours in future.

Fabulous Bargain Fabric

This fabric is exceptional value. I wanted a lightweight lining for a dress and it is perfect for that. It doesn't fray excessively and the colour is exactly as advertised. I washed it at 30 and spun at 800 - it didn't crease too much. Really pleased with it.
