Brannan Garden Soil Thermometer Probe - Ideal Greenhouse Accessories to Measure propagator soil temperature for planting and sowing seeds and plants

Fits nicely inside small propagator or sitting on window sill. It's been invaluable for having a ball park idea of the compost and hence seed temperature. I caught it soaring into 30s one day and it really helped me save my seeds in time. I wouldn't like to be without it now. Good little gadget for the price.

A good product which does the job and is value for money. I use it to check the ground is warm enough to plant grass seeds. The plastic scale comes off quite easily but it just pops back on no problem.

Great little thermometer for plant pots on benches or in propagator. I have six and can recommend these.

Very flimsy.

I have been gardening and sowing seed for nearly 30 years now. I was wary of buying on-line but I was not disappointed. This is a nice, sturdy little thermometer and, to my delight, has Made in England stamped on it! The 'red ink' line is very clear and defined, so the temperature is easy to read and the thermometer reacts quickly to temperature fluctuations. I have no hesitation in recommending this product to other fellow gardeners.

The shorter stem means it fits in well in my propagator & doesn't get snagged every time I mist or move the pots etc. It's temperature readings compare to the ones from the propagator soil temperature probe, so I'm happy with that. It's maybe a little small print for easy reading, but large enough to see if the temp is within the desired range so no worries there. All in all, it seems like a good little unit that does the job. Recommended.

I have soil thermometers already but they are bigger ones mainly for the big containers and raised beds, but i wanted one just to check the temperature of some seeds and seedlings. This one does the job great and i wouldn't hesitate recommending this to anyone.
