Tastes nothing like thousand island, very watery, bland. I don’t recommend it

Lange schon ernähre ich mich Low Carb aber erst seit kurzem habe ich immer wieder von einem Big Mc Salat gehört. Den wollte ich unbedingt probieren, doch hatte ich keine Lust das Dressing mega kompliziert nachzubasteln. Das Thousand Island Dressing von Walden Farms hat mich von der Beschreibung her angesprochen und ich hab dann mal 3 bestellt. Ja und dann, das Geschmackserlebnis total! Ich hab den Big Mc Salat gleich 3 Tage hintereinander gemacht so lecker war das mit diesem Dressing!!!! Wird sofort nach Verbrauch nachbestellt..........wer braucht schon Zucker, wenn es so ein leckeres Dressing ohne gibt!

This dressing is awful. I ate half a spoonful to taste test it, then immediately threw it out. Total waste of money. It's disgusting. The first ingredient is water. It has thickeners and all sorts of unnatural products to compensate for it being mostly water. That is not what salad dressing is supposed to be made of. Look at this list of ingredients. Water, White distilled vinegar, Salt, Cellulose gel, Cellulose gum, Relish (cucumbers, water, vinegar, salt, natural flavours, mustard seeds, diced red bell peppers, xanthan gum, turmeric), Tomato paste, Corn fibre, Titanium dioxide, Natural and artificial flavours, Tomato concentrate, Guar gum, Xanthan gum, Sugarcane fibre, Onion powder, Sodium benzoate, Potassium sorbate, Garlic powder, Mustard powder, OAS modified gum arabic, Carob bean gum, Gellan gum, Rosemary extract, Sucralose (6 mg / 30 mL), Caramel, Purple sweet potato extract, White pepper, Tartrazine, Cayenne pepper, Citric acid, Allura red, Sunset yellow FCF. Contains: Mustard, Sulphites. It's the worst Thousand Island, and dressing, I've ever tasted.

Zufrieden und sehr gut

Doing keto, I was looking for a low carb dressing at 2-3g/carb per 2tbsp.. I set bar pretty low: a decent taste and flavor. Walden Farms flavors thousand island and ranch failed the test, big time. I typically wouldn’t even write this review but the taste was that bad, that disappointing and was compelled to warn others. I don’t expect great taste in a low carb dressing, just a modicum of taste and flavor to motivate me to eat more greens. I ate a teaspoon of each flavor, asking myself if I would then use on a salad. The answer was a resounding no, and I poured the rest of the just opened bottles down the drain. (Yeah, what a waste; however, what’s the point of keeping if I don’t like the taste and won’t use it. The thousand island had a taste that didn’t even hint of a traditional thousand island dressing of sweet and tangy, just very bland, watery, The ranch had a slimy feel (like okra) and no taste of typical ranch flavor of buttermilk and herbs. Just because the first ingredient in low carb dressing is water shouldn’t mean they have no taste. In my same order, I also tried another brand of low carb dressing they weren’t as bad, and the first ingredient is a water. As for the other brand, its bottle has the same shape a wishbone salad dressing.

Also unser Geschmack war es nicht. Irgendwie hat es einen seltsamen Nachgeschmack Aber die Geschmäcker sind ja bekanntlich unterschiedlich......Wird aber beim Versuch bleiben
