Portta HDMI Splitter 2 Port 1x2 1 In 2 Out V1.3 Support 3D and 1080P Plastic Case for HDTV PS3 PS4 Xbox Blu-ray DVD STB PC etc

Essential for the Home Theatre that has HDMI going over 10 metres, which I didn't even think about when I wired it up. I use this to split the single signal from my receiver out to the TV and the projector. The signal to the projector was awful with an ordinary splitter, so had to find a splitter that also boosted the signal. On the whole they were quite expensive but found this, was a real bargain at half the price of anything comparable. It worked perfectly out of the box. Very happy with this little gadget.

My Samsung Blu Ray player has just one HDMI output from which I connect it by cable to the HDMI socket on my Samsung TV. However, there was no provision to connect the player to my Yamaha sound bar which has only a pair of phono input sockets. This device has overcome this difficulty by allowing me to connect one HDMI cable to the TV and a second cable, via an HDMI to phono conversion box to the sound bar. Upon connecting up and switching on, I found the whole set-up worked perfectly from the word go. Problem solved! It also appears to enhance the image when playing DVDs.

So i have to give it two stars, let me explainXBOX ONE doesn't do pass through on its input when powered down, so if i want to used the TV features with sky while my xbox is on, and watch sky when it powered off then i need to output sky to two different inputs.. i already have a hdmi splitter which worked great until recently it started to drop signal when the xbox is powered off and I would intermittently lose signal..so i bought this, wonderful, it actually worked great outputting a strong signal x2 to my TV and to my XBOX but....It isnt HDMI CEC Compatible, so when i press SKY on my sky remote, the HDMI CEC SIGNAL sky sends to tell my TV and Receiver what Source inputs to be on is for some reason scrambled by this device and it causes the TV to be on the wrong input. well sorry but that is just a deal breaker for me..so i give it 2 stars for its performance, but it loses three for not being HDMI CEC Compatible. Unless i got a faulty one, some one let me know? i would be happy to proven wrong.

If you need to get rid of hdcp or just want to hook a console or any hdmi device to multiple displays this works a charm. Mine took a little while to come but when it arrived i wasnt very impressed, the packaging was damaged and the seal had been broken, rest assured it looks like the seal was broken to change the power adapter in my region (i live in ireland) and the product itself was fine, keep in mind the packaging isnt the highest quality so i was glad mine had no damage to it. Inside the box you get a warranty card and the splitter itself with a power adapter. Setup was easy and i was off to the races with no hitches, personally im using mine with a monitor and hdpvr. As far as quality goes it feels nice and is quite small only the size of about a credit card and there was 0 image or audio degradation! Fantastic, and as an added bonus if you need to get rid of hdcp ....... it does! i can now happily record my sky plus hd programs directly to my PC!Pros:Small and lightTakes up very little spaceLittle setup required (works out of the box)GETS RIF OF HDCP!!!Cons:Poorly packaged (hopefully you have a nice postman)Takes a while to be deliveredOverall im delighted with the splitter, i use mine 24/7 and have had 0 issues so far (long may it last). i would recommend it to anyone trying to get rid of hdcp or just wants a good small convenient hdmi splitter.

I needed to connect a 65" TV and a Projector to a computer via HDMI. The TV was connected with a 15m cable and the Projector was connected with a 10m cable. Whilst the projector worked 'okay', even with the resolution and colour settings turned right down, the connection to the TV was very flaky and unreliable.Given the price I wasn't expecting too much but thought I'd give this little HDMI splitter a try.Plugged it in, connected up the cables and the results are excellent. Both TV and Projector now work at their maximum recommended resolutions and display a rock solid picture. Highly recommended.

Resolved issues I was having connecting a Cambridge Audio BD player to an Epson wireless projector. Problem was HDCP issue with older version 1.x on BD player not allowing sync to the projector transmitter that has V2.x. This unit when inserted inline removed the HDCP and the two talked to each other correctly allowing image to be shown. Could see no insertion loss of detail either. Bargain. Bought after seeing another's review state that this resolved a similar HDCP issue they had with a BT YouView box.

Purchased so that I could record the HDCP protected HDMI signal from my Sky HD box and this works perfectly. It splits the Sky HDMI signal into two unprotected signals, one for the TV and one for your recording device. I use the Hauppauge HD Rocket (which does not record HDCP protected HDMI signals) to record the signal in 1080p with perfect results. Very compact and portable device so matches the portability of the Hauppauge HD Rocket making a good combo if you need to take the kit with you to a friends house or on your travels. Highly Recommended.

Works a treat ..as per a previous reviewer! Said review gave me confidence to try this unit as I too had had disappointing results with a slightly cheaper item with the same description/intended function from another site.The only thing I would have liked to have different would have been a USB power takeoff as this unit comes with a mains adaptor, but for all I know that may well be because USB doesn't offer the required power? (please feel free to enlighten me on that last point if you can!).Thanks for the quality bit of kit :)

Antes de nada, explicar que un splitter se usa habitualmente para romper la protección HDCP que usan ciertos dispositivos de reproducción de video y las consolas PS por ejemplo.Pues funciona perfectamente.Una salida la usas para el monitor/tv y la otra para pasar por una capturadora que graba todo al romper la protección HDCP.Genial.

Lo instalé en un restaurante para duplicar la señal de Sky a dos televisiones y lo hace perfectamente sin degradar la señal ni agragar "lag" a esta misma. Viene con el adaptador de corriente y en los foquitos rojos puedes ver las televisiones que están prendidas. Muy bueno para ahorrar en los contratos con los proveedores de señal que te cobran más si son mas televisiones, claro, son esto todas las televisiones tienen que ver el mismo canal.

Este producto lo compre exclusivamente para quitar el HDCP de un PS3 y poder usarlo con la capturadora de video elgato HD60.Quito exitosamente el HDCP y ahora puedo grabar contenido de mi PS3. Muy recomendado para aquellos que quieran quitar ese candado.

hace lo que debe hacer, sin agregar mucho lag, realmente no hay mucha diferencia entre conexión directa y con este dispositivo, por lo que cuesta hace un trabajo excelente, no he tenido problemas con el HDCP, lo recomiendo para los que necesiten dividir su señal.

Solo lo compré porque quería quitarle el HDCP a mi PS4, ya que mi tv no lo soporta, pero no funcionó. Me dejé llevar por los comentarios. El producto funcional fuera de eso, no tenía caja pero llegó en buen estado y a tiempo.

Muy util para triplicar la pantalla de mi portatil. Ahora puedo visualizar lo del portatil 1) en la pantalla del mismo, 2) en la primera salida HDMI del splitter que va a un monitor y 3) en la segunda salida HDMI del splitter que va a mi televisor.

It's good quality very premium materials but does not work to bypass the HDCP copy protection so it can't be used with a elgoto. I saw someone post in the answers that it does so I decided to take the risk and it didn't work with my ps4 or ether of my ps3's

Buon prodotto, ha le prestazioni (e i difetti) della concorrenza, con un prezzo supereconomico. Io lo uso per inviare il segnale Sky a due televisori. L'unico problema (riscontrato anche in altri prodotti simili) è che quando si accende un qualsiasi apparecchio elettrico, si perde il segnale per 3 secondi. Ho il sospetto che l'alimentatore sia sottodimensionato, ma non ho avuto tempo di verificare.

Works as intended but does not work with PS3 and Elgato HD60. Also doesn't work with RCA/Component to HDMI upscaler.Confirmed working with PS4.

Exactly as advertised: DHCP issues arise depending on the sequence of monitors connected. Easily rectified. Functional affordable product.
