Lovely and warm, especially on a frosty morning. Nice and long, so keeps ones neck cosy. It is a lovely thick fleece. The two drawstrings give it a good fit all round. If you get hot, then it will be a good neck warmer. If you lose heat from your head, then your body will soon be cold. I wear my lovely balaclava on my scooter and it is indispensable. Don't think a woman can't wear this hood because I am one. It can also be worn under a hat as it keeps your face warm, so to summarize. Nice thick, warm, cosy waterproof hat. I proofed mine

During winters I have to grit two industrial sites in early morning before clients start work . In winds, hoods and hats get blown off, so have tried the headover. It works to great effect. For not so cold mornings it keeps my neck warm, for colder windier days the hood stays firmly on my head and for lung biting winds the face cover is ideal. This really is a great item, only complaint is that it needs to be in a wider variety of colours, not a huge complaint but needs to be considered but not enough to deduct a star.

Ordered these for a family ski holiday. They came quickly and seller also sends top tips for keeping warm in the cold, which was useful. Haven't used them yet but my son has just taken one skiing so might update if he uses it.

Very good fit on me - I'm female with a smallish head (55 cm circumference) and it's roomy on me. I can get a tighter fit if it's windy with the hood adjusters. It's good quality fleece and seems well-made. I bought it in charcoal grey which is a decent colour. I really wanted a more exciting colour (red, blue or purple) but the quality is more important than colour which is why I didn't buy one of the cheaper brands on offer.

As per other reviews for a man could be slightly larger, that being said kept me warm on the my fishing and golf days

Unfortunately this is just way too short on the neck (unless perhaps you have a very short head and neck). Also, the inner bit that covers your face is fixed to the neck bit on the inside, so if you pull the face bit up, it also pulls the neck bit up. If it was *a lot* longer on the neck, and the inner face bit was not connected to the neck, it would be great! Also, when I tried to return it, I have to pay to return. So a big thumbs down all around I'm afraid :-(

My first feedback was very straight to the point "too small" this was due to the fact that when I used the flap to cover my mouth and nose it exposed my neck to the elements, the company saw my feed back and said they would send out a modified version first class to which they did , and this is much better fits perfect with no complaints at all. Great customer service.

Very good to wear when the weather is cold,kept my head and neck warm,mouth area is covered so you are not breathing in cold air.
