Worked to reprogram my Volvo keys
Was relatively straightforward to reprogram additional keys for my 2023 Volvo XC40 Recharge. Bought the car used with only one key. The Volvo Vida software is a bit annoying to figure out but once you do the actual key programming is easy. I bought 3 extras on eBay and did them all at once along with the original one I got with the car. If you are somewhat technical and have a Windows laptop with an Ethernet port or adaptor, you can do it. One word of caution, you rent the Vida platform for 3 days but when you buy the key reprogramming software it is a one time use, so you need to pay, download and use all in one session. If you disconnect you need to rebuy the key software.

Got this to use as an interface between my computer and my Volvos. I have both a 2018 XC90 and a 2022 XC40. This connected both vehicles to my PC running Orbit without any fuss.
