Although the bowl is dishwasher safe, I prefer to wash it by hand. I have a small dog that has a collapsed trachea and this slanted bowl helps him keep his head up and level with his spine. Even he seems happier to eat his food then before. It is attractive and easy to maintain. The product has a good design and seems to be made of quality parts.

Received this today and I'm so impressed. Granted it is kind of expensive but it is so well-made and sturdy that I'm glad I decided upon this one. I got the marble base, 1 cup version for my 14 lb Cavalier KC Spaniel. I mix wet/dry food together along with supplements to feed him. He has a sensitive tummy so I don't feed him but about 1/2 cup of food mix at a time. This bowl is perfect for how I feed him. It doesn't move across the hardwood floor or carpet and Brecken took to eating out of it right away. He seemed to like that slant of the bowl. It is easy to clean up and I'm happy with the purchase. Would definitely recommend this one.

We have a deaf/blind senior dog. The angled bowl and the non-slip aspects of this set-up are very good for her. The bowl doesn't slide along the floor as her other bowls do. I chose the 1 cup size - she's 12" at her shoulders and weighs 13 lbs. It's OK for her, but any dog larger than that would want the larger sized bowl. It is nicely made and sturdy. The only thing I dislike is that the rubbery band that keeps the stainless bowl from slipping around inside the base doesn't stay put. It slides off for cleaning and then it's a chore to get it reseated under the rim of the stainless bowl. Otherwise, it's a nice bowl and helpful.

Great little bowl. Easy to clean and my dog loves eating out of it. I would definitely buy again.This bowl is not very big, but my dog is small. I am not sure if it comes in larger sizes.

The one cup is the best size for cats. I found out the hard way by ordering smaller and larger first. These are really great for not making a mess. We have one rescue cat who the vet had to pull all her teeth due to problems, and she has a very hard time eating without making a mess. I always had to continue pushing the food back toward her to keep it from going over the opposite side of the bowl. Since I started using this type, she has not made a mess in the floor at all, and I don't have to continue helping her. I pat myself on the back for buying these for my animals.One reviewer had a problem with the band that is around the inside rim of the bowl not lasting. So far, I have had no problem with them, but I did think about them not lasting when I first opened the packages. However, my second thought was a wide rubber band would work the same way, a simple solution.Also, any animal larger than a five pound chihuahua needs a larger bowl than the ½ cup size. They are very sturdy and easy to clean too.

If you have a tiny dog, this bowl might work fine. But I mean really tiny. My dog is 8 pounds, and this is way too small for him. It does seem well made and easy to clean.

I did measure these before buying but they ended up being a bit bigger than I needed and I returned them. I would definitely buy these for a small dog or cat. I was going to use for a almost completely blind bird that can still see shadows. I thought food and water would be great for the bird in these. They would be sturdy, sit in place, and be angled for easy access and easy to find due to their shape and maybe the color. However, they were a bit bigger than I needed. I was impressed with them though and would buy for another animal, a small cat or dog or even a rodent pet.

Great for keeping ants out of dog bowl. - you may still require ant bait nearby as food smell still attracts ants.Also, makes eating easier for my ShiTzu as he needn’t bend his neck so much.

Perfecta para bulldogs

We needed new bowls for our small dogs. These are just perfect. The size is right for the serving size (18 lb dogs). The design makes it easy for them to get their mouths into the food. Easy clean up. The silicon ring stops the bowl moving and if you break one, a rubber band works just fine. A great find.

Good value for the price . It is great for our Bulldog ! will buy another for the Cottage .
