Our young granddaughter used to hate it every time that her mum tried to remove the elastic hair ties from her hair. Too often the ties would snag in her hair and pull painfully as her mum tried to remove them, resulting in discomfort and sometimes even tears.These elastic hair tie removal tools completely solve that problem. They are easy to slide in between the hair and the hair tie and then as you pull them through like a comb the safely screened sharp blade quickly and efficiently cuts through the elastic freeing the hair. Our granddaughter didn’t even realise what was being done.You get five in a pack for just under four pounds so they should last you for some time and, in my opinion, they represent great value.

I’m not quite sure why there’s so many in the packet. I’ve handed these out to my daughters friends at swimming. They are incredible at cutting those tiny little elastic bands which I use in My daughters very fine hair when her hair is braided. These cut the elastic band but leave the hair intact. They are incredibly sharp but super useful and have saved my fingers. I have one of these and have used them for years. Glad to have been able to replace it with a new one, but this pack 4 is way more than I needed

Good enough but blades not sharp enough really

My eight year old loves having her hair put up in intricate styles with the little elastic bands, but hates having her hair pulled when trying to take them out.The rounded end of the cutter pushes gently through the hair, getting it out of the way, and the blade cuts the elastic really easily. I didn't expect the blades to cut as well as they do and I'm so pleasantly surprised with how easy it is to get the elastics out now.£3.99 is excellent value for money for the pack of 4. They are such a good quality that I will never need to buy any again.Highly recommend!

This set of hair tie removers is a sharp but low quality item.The cutters Co.e as a pack of 5, provided in a clear plastic bag.The cutters are appx 11cm long and come with a sharp blade moulded within the step of the product which you use to cut away the hair tie.The hook end which has the blade easily hooks into the hair and cuts cleanly, but be cReful as you cN cut your hair also.The item is very cheaply made and the handle is this and bends easily.For the price of over £5 for a set of 5 seems abit expensive for what they are, but does the job.
