Beam Deflector Headlamp Beam Converters UK to EU or EU to UK

I was a tad concerned given some of the reviews. However, I found these easy to fit - indeed much easier than some other types I have used.On a two week holiday in France no one flashed me at night so I presume they were effective. They also remained in situ despite a couple of downpours.As regards removal, I found it best to turn on the lights for a couple of minutes to warm up the glue. The deflectors then pealed off easily leaving just a tad of residual glue. A quick spray of WD-40 and a wipe with rag soon cleared that up.I have purchased some more of these - ready for our next trip!

Unfortunately I can't recommend these. I'd carefully cleaned the headlamp lenses and then covered them with cling film to ensure I had a clean surface by the time I reached the ferry terminal (that worked very well). The first one I fitted had the backing paper de-laminate itself, resulting in me having to very carefully remove all the unnecessary adhesive. The second one had the lens retaining adhesive come away with the backing paper. I re-applied the adhesive to the lens and it promptly came away the first time I switched on the headlamps. It seemed as if they were old stock that had passed their sell-by date.The lens themselves did the job they were designed for.

I wasn't too sure about this given some of the reviews, but I followed the instructions and they went on easily, stayed there and I didn't get any angry drivers coming at me at night, so I'd say they did their job. Came off easily afterwards as well; the marks from the glue disappeared within a couple of days.What I will say is that when it rained, rain got in and stayed got trapped, so I guess the seal isn't perfect; I don't know how well they would stick were the lamps wet when I put them on; maybe best to ensure dry and warm headlights when applying them.

The instructions don't cover all cars and for those of us with moulded, curved lamps (eg the Fords etc), it is going to be tough to place it correctly. You also need to put the lights on for a while after applying it to warm the adhesive. I guess that if you count on traffic cops seeing a sticker and nlot bothering, that's OK - but if anyone checked the beam there is a good chance it would be wrong (which is actually the offence and can lead to large fines in France, for example).On balance, you may as well just mask a section of the headlamp with masking tape. That is also legal.

Their quite difficult to peal off with the sticky stuff intact. I managed to stick the sticky stuff direct to the lamp and push the deflector onto it. But it did last the week out. The 2nd was much easier once I'd sussed out the first. Would I buy again ? Yes, just be carefully when pealing it off

Managed to get 2 uses out of them, so no complaints. No-one 'flashed' their lights back at me on the continent, so have to assume they worked OK.

Excellent, they do what they are supposed to do!And, with the lights warm, they peel off easily. Ours were on for 11 days are came off rcleanly, all the adhesive stayed on the reflector. Once cool, I stuck them to either side of a plastic sheet (packaging off a notebook!) so I can use them again 😊

Not used yet but appear to be a good product. Fair price, good delivery etc
