This lovely pincushion measures 4" x 4" x 2" and is filled with crushed walnut shells for weight and stability. (Please let me know if a non-allergenic pincushion filling is desired.) It sits firmly on the work surface. The natural oils in the crushed walnut shells lubricate your pins and needles, keeping them clean and sharp. Made from 10 different coordinating fabrics, the pincushion top is carefully pieced and finished with a vintage pewter/silver button from my collection. This item would make a beautiful and practical gift for those that enjoy doing any sort of needlework such as sewing, quilting, needlepoint, embroidery, etc. I use only name brand quilters quality 100% cotton and linen fabrics for my creations.
