Q: is this one piece,not with a join ? I am worrying that it will fray when cut

Hi, I cut mine and there was no fraying. it's more like cutting heavy duty plastic. It works very well but the chemicals in the tub will fade the blue over time.I would happily recommend.

Q: When using this thermal floating spa blanket is it bubble side up and flat side on water

Not certain but we put ours bubble side down as the air trapped between the bubbles retains the heat and it works very well the heater doesn’t come on half as much as it used to good luck

Q: Without sounding really stupid what way up does the cover go, I just want to check before i cut this. Is it bubbles down touching the water?

Hi I always use mine bubbles down, not sure what the correct answer is but seems to work well and I notice that it keeps the heat in and reduces the moisture form the top cover, its worth adjust the your highest to point under the cover or it will move it, hope this helps

It is a very heavy duty bubble wrap. Cut to size it works well. The temperature drops by about 2 to 3 degrees less over a 24hour period. That's what I have found. I haven't used the tub for a while though. Not sure how effective it would be in minus temperatures. Hope this helps.
