Toasted Almond Candy Bar, 1.75-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12)

I bought these as a stocking stuffer for soeone who is lactose intolerant. She loved them and said they were delicious! The only thing she would change is making the inside a bit crispier. The chocolate is excellent. I will buy more.

I did not taste any almonds in these, except for almond flavoring. If I had known this, I would not have bought these. The almond flavoring is a bit strong also, as if to make up for the lack of almond pieces.

I initially bought these for purposes of being gluten-free, but I genuinely enjoy them! They've recently changed the recipe, as the bars taste slightly less "dark-chocolatey," but they're still delicious. Don't be confused by the toasted almond label. There are very few tiny slivers of almonds, and the bars honestly taste more like a dark chocolate rice crispy bar than anything with nuts. Overall, I prefer these to all other gluten free bars. If only they were slightly less expensive!

My wife loves these Cripy Cat bars. She has many allergies and thesebarsallowherto have a "candy bar" that not only tastes great, but doesn't create allergic reaction. We highly recommend them!

My favorite candy bar!

I was thinking this was going to be more like the other bars at the health food store, instead this mimicked the overly sweet flavor of a regular candy bar. So if you're looking for a candy bar with ingredients that are better then you've found the jackpot.For me, it's too much sugar and not enough substance to even it out. I also didn't really taste any almonds though they are in there - just rice crisps, sweetness and chocolate. I've been eating less and less sugar so this and candy bars taste sickly sweet to me. Too much sugar can still be bad for you.I know I don't feel like I ate something healthy after eating this - I feel a bit of a sugar rush ick. This is why I docked it one star.I was tempted to give it less stars because I really don't like it ... I probably would have loved this if I hadn't already started reducing my sugar intake and trying to balance sugar with proteins or fiber based foods.I suspect most people though will love this if they are trying to find a candy bar replacement.

I had my first one. It was delicious! Very tasty, moist and the chocolate was a high quality dark that went perfectly with the rest of the bar. I as a rule don't like protein bars due to the dense feel in my mouth but these cats are light and crispy! Will buy again

I got one of these at the San Jose airport for the long trip to Boston. The other two were the usual solid bars of flavored saw dust and dates, but this guy was dark chocolate coated, almond flavored bliss. Definitely a dessert bar for when you're looking for something sweet, but I've got a sweet tooth so I'll be looking for this bad boy a lot! Oh yeah, it's gluten free to boot.
