First of all, the look of this thing sitting on the desk (especially next to other Apple products) is nice. It fits right in with its aluminum construction. The wireless charging works great with iPhone 7 (I have an adapter for it) and the iPhone 8 Plus. I only have two small niggles....1. The cord is permanently attached to the back of the device. It seems strong enough and of good quality, but if it ever breaks, I’ll have to toss the whole charger.2. My device arrived with two very slight scratches running down the front of the device where the back of the phone rests while charging. This part is made of clear plastic and seems like it will be prone to scratching. But this thing is made for people who want a nice wireless stand that will mainly stay permanently at their desk. If that’s your plan, the scratching won’t be a problem and the attached cord should last a long time.Also, there is a blue LED on the bottom front middle of the device that activates when charging begins. It’s fairly bright in a dark room (on a bedside table) but nothing crazy.If you can live with those two minor things, then I’d recommend this charger.

Having recently acquired an iPhone X, I was looking for an aluminum Qi charger with Apple-like aesthetics. I can confirm that this charger fits the bill! The simple, utilitarian design looks at home next to my other Apple devices and is indeed one piece of solid aluminum, as advertised, and exactly what I wanted. Most faux aluminum chargers are silver-painted plastic and pretty cheap looking.Performance wise, I can’t confirm how fast it charges “quick-charge” Android Devices, but it charged my iPhone X 12% over a half hour using the charger that comes with the phone, at the current rate of 5w. A future update to iOS should increase that to 7.5w. The charger is rated up to 10w, according to the specs, so it should charge Android devices faster. After a full night of charging, the device was not putting out excessive heat with the current charging configuration. I can confirm that charging does work with the phone in a landscape orientation.My complaints are very minor, but there are enough of them to dock one star. The base does not include any anti-skid pads, so the charger will slide around on a desk. That’s fairly easily remedied with the addition of stick-on pads you should be able to get from any hardware store. But for the price, it would’ve been nice if Guanchi had included them. My second complaint is that the “Wireless Charger” text on the face of the charging surface is pretty cheesy looking. It would look better in a different typeface, or better yet, no text at all. Unfortunately, this seems to be common on cheap/affordable devices coming out of China. The charging surface is clear plastic, so I expect some scratching that would not occur if it were glass. However, making it out of glass would’ve no doubt increased the price significantly, so I can live with the plastic. It also would have been nice if the cable was a detachable micro-usb style, instead of a permanently-attached cable. The cable length should be enough for most (almost 4ft), but separate cables are always preferrable. Lastly, the Apple fan in me can’t help but wish the blue charging LED were white, but the blue is preferable to the green on most chargers. It doesn’t stay on long either way.Nitpicky complaints aside, I would definitely recommend this charger to anyone, but especially iPhone users looking for something matching the Apple aesthetic. Now if only it came in Space Grey too…

Its LED indicator will automatically shut off after 10 seconds. Sleep safe and sound from now on."That couldn't be further from the truth. There's a red light that shines all the time whether a phone is present or not, and there's a bright blue light that not only shines from the front but also from the back. Contrary to the description neither light shuts off after 10 second.

Mine was used that came with a defect. It looks great and performed well on the first night, I think. Anyway, it charges right away when I put the phone on Albeit slowly. Then it starts to wake up at the phone for a few seconds, about every 47 seconds so this is not something I could use at my nightstand. Also, I can’t understand how it could do that but I am afraid it may ruin my New iPhone 8 so have discontinued using it. My phone charges just fine on my wife’s Samsung wireless stand.

Only good for the office. Super bright blue light that shines on both sides does not turn off. Will keep you up at night. “wireless charger” on the face of the product makes it quite cheeze. Would have been a perfect product if those two problems were not there.

Very fast delivery! I am planning to use it for iPhone X, but I haven’t got the extra budget to upgrade, so I used this for my Samsung S7 Edge and it works really well! phone quickly starts charging and overall a great product!

I bought this for my iPhone X, and I am very disappointed. I am using a Qualcomm quick charging brick, and the charging is very spotty. It also doesn’t charge in the landscape orientation as advertised. I would not recommend this charger.
