We purchased these bags, having bought a large amount each of topsoil, bark and compost in similar bags, which the courier could only leave on the side of the driveway. We've been barrowing the topsoil, compost etc to different parts of the garden where they will be used and using these new bags to decant them into. The bags are well suitable for the job. They are sturdy and robust enough, and we are glad of them because we are now freeing up that part of our driveway.

These are brilliant, got so much use out of them we have just ordered a second lot, not sure how we managed without them. After recently moving we have had a lot of work to do in the garden and general rubbish/waste that was left by the previous owner. These have proved well worth their money, they can hold a lot of stuff and are very study. We manage to fit two of these bags in the car (4x4 size with seats down), this is with the bags almost full for trips to the skip. The handles make it relatively easy to move around and carry, the only issue we have had is that the bottom of the bags have become worn, with some holes in places. This is almost to be expected with the amount of use we have had out of them including them being dragged across the garden and with branches/brambles being put in them. We are still using the ones with holes but if putting in stuff that could easy come out of the holes you can easily line with a bit of tarpaulin. Well worth the money, and would highly recommend. The only other thing to maybe point out is both times when ordering I could not have the item delivered to a click and collect site due to the size and had to be delivered to the home address. This meant I had to try and plan where I could be around and it does come in an extremely large box even though the bags are folded.

I was digging over an area of garden and sieving out the substantial quantity of rubble, brick & stone that was in it. I needed something to hold the sieved soil while this was in progress. Comparable Hippo bags are c. £11 so I looked here and saw that builder's bags were cheaper but still £4-6 each and then I saw these, at just over £3 each. For what I wanted they were excellent, as good as Hippo bags. They aren't as thick as Hippo bags and so presumably not quite as strong but that did not matter in my case.
