Flashband Flashing Adhesive Tape 150MM x 10M

As an amateur DIY'er I was quite apprehensive of making repairs to the roof of my lean-to that had lost a polycarbonate roof panel during high winds. Not just the flashing, but the overall replacement and fixing also. However, as far as the flashing goes, this turned out to be pleasingly straightforward. I was worried I would need to use primers etc, and that not being able to completely remove the previous flashing residue would pose problems. I need not have worried. Working in approx 14 degrees Celsius, rain threatening but not quite raining, applying this was a doddle. Cut to the required length using a Stanley knife, bent into shape using hands, remove the white protective tape, apply and press firmly. It grasped the surface quickly and only one slight crease had to be pressed out (not wholly successfully). But it sealed perfectly, and using the curved end of an old hockey stick I had lying around, I managed to press into the corner and indentations such as brick grouting. Whether it lasts 15 years remains to be seen, but cannot fault the ease of use of this product. Delivery was timely too, and more price competitive than the high street stores.
