GSI Outdoors 74340 Pivot Tongs Orange, 8 inch

Got these to complement a GSI Outdoors Destination kitchen utensils kit. Sturdy, won't scratch your non-stick pans, don't melt and fold down to a tiny size. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Great little tongs. I love everything that GSI do, they really think about the detail. I have the folding GSI spatula, spoon and tongs. They look great, are compact and make a great addition to my camp kitchen, even my adventure camp kitchen - these are a little luxury items I can’t go camping without

I bought this for my lightweight camping gear - not what you would call a necessity but I thought would be useful.It's ok - but overpriced and you can easily get something better and cheaper. I've attached a picture with some cheap metal tongs I bought in a cheap jack store for about £1. They're only slightly bigger and weigh about the same. The cheap tongs are never going to break (and even if they did, a repair job would be possible) and will probably last forever. The Gsi tongs, even though seem fairly robust, I can see breaking at some point while unswivelling them - and that will be it - impossible to repair.This is a classic example of thinking something is better just because it has a gimmick and it's expensive. The swivel action is almost pointless, it's definitely a weak point in the construction and you can buy better and cheaper. Sorry Gsi

I use this with my trangia works perfectly, love them and they fit inside when packed away

Great tongs very compact

Bought for my campervan but a bit short to use on a bbq

compact, reliable, strong, and easy to use. this tongs is everything you need when camping and want to keep the size of your gear compact

They are ok but a bit pricey for what they actually are
