they slide into the end of the track, 1. take the door out with the spring releases on the top of the door guides. 2. remove both tracks from the top of the jamb and the floor. 3. clean all of the old dust, dirt and build up out of both tracks. 4. slide the guide onto the end of the tracks (important: they do not click in from the top, they have to be slid onto the track. 5. reinstall tracks, apply a light coating of grease to the slide and move back and forth to get the track lubricated. 6. reinstall the door or doors.

Q: Where can I buy the track? I have multiple closets that use this guide but I can't find a replacement for the track.

I know I bought one at Lowes or Home depot. I think it comes with more than just the track but it isn't that expensive.

I used them on a house built in 1950's and they worked well.
