Feminine Wardrobe: Twenty-One Beautiful Skirts, Dresses and Tops for You to Make Paperback – 20 May 2013

This is a lovely book, the pictures are beautiful, young girls, very slim who look just right in the wonderful clothes and the instructions seem very clear and concise. I haven't actually made anything yet but i intend to get started very soon. What more could you want in is kind of book. I love it. The sizes are a bit small for someone size 16 and up but it looks so easy to adjust the patterns that this shouldn't be a problem. All in all i would say a wonderful book for a beginner or for someone who is returning to sewing after a long break, i can't say for a professional sewer because i am not one.

really nice fresh designs and patterns included! very inspirational, I've made a start on one of the designs already. Tge patterns in this book are based upon classics yet manage to look new and quite edgy. Suitable for all ages and with easy to follow instructions, I would recommend this to all sewers who want something a bit different to what the conventional pattern companies offer

This book has some beautiful patterns in. The instructions are quite easy to follow, however the seam allowances are not included on the pattern pieces. So once you have traced the pieces you then have to add on the seam allowance.

another winner from the Japanese Sewing Books library, i'm collecting them all slowly already to make the first item, they are all beautiful garments and a lot of the patterns are the same for a range of ideas so once you have traced the patterns out you can use them for several things to make without having to trace again. dressmaking for me has moved into the fashionable century finally and i can't now go back to using ordinary single patterns, also these books are much more cost effective. i do try and follow the fabric recommended in the books which is the only down side sometimes its hard to find some of the lovely lovely linens, but apart from that buy these books you won't be disappointed so spread the word about Japanese Sewing Books .

Super book with lots of inspiration and ideas. The patterns are easy to tweak and simple for all experience levels.Full size patterns in book but they are on the small size and the large is more like at conservative 12. Your never get board of looking at this book

I like some of the designs in this book. However, some of the patterns will only look good if you are very slim and petit, due to oversized detailing etc.Yet you can omit some of these details though, and I really love some of the designs. AND you get a lot for your money, so I think it is a good buy despite the huge bows!

Great book, really lovely patterns. I haven't got round to using any of them yet but they look pretty simple and classic, and looks like instructions will be easy enough to follow.

Alles o.k.Hatte aber noch keine Zeit mit dem Buch zu arbeiten. Man muss allerdings Englisch perfekt verstehen.

Excellent book with many cute projects you can customize. Sizing is a little smaller than conventional western patterns.
