Seasons of the Witch: Mabon: (44 Gilded Cards and 144-Page Full-Color Guidebook)

These are beautiful well illustrated cards with lovely gilt edging that perfectly embodies the subject of the deck the illustrations are whimsical with a lovely folk art tone that matches the vibe of the deck well. There is a good deal of info in the guidebook with plenty of detail about each card and I m pleased to note that the hideous poetry which ruined the yule deck has been done away with for this deck. The invocations on the cards work so much better than the dreadful doggerel poetry which I mentioned in my review of the yule deck. These are fabulous cards well worth the money and it is clear that thought and effort has been put into them. Ideal to use round Mabon or anytime of the year although I would say better suited yo autumn time. Very pleased with my purchase and overjoyed that the dire poetry has been done away with and as a result the deck benefits enormously from this detail. Ideal as a beginners deck or for anyone really as it is so easy to use.

I really love this series. I think they're a fantastic idea to have all the witchy seasons and festivals. The cards are very sturdy and easy to shuffle. I use them a lot in my YouTube tarot videos and they never fail to give accurate readings. I can't wait to get the rest of them.

Ordered this deck because of the art style, which is earthy, heavy and saturated which suits the vibe and messages perfectly. The cards are very mindful and grounding, reminding that hearth is to be fostered while the cooler days are coming!
