Alpha SlimPWRcard - 0.5mm Qi Receiver for Samsung Galaxy Alpha with integrated NFC coil

I love new technologies and I really wanted to charge my mobile phone wirelessly. This small item fulfilled my expectation. It is hidden under the cover and you donť need to use large ugly charging case cover. I grinded off a bit the pins and it quite good fits with the flip cover too. The charging is very fast, almost like using 2,1A USB charger. And yes, Android 5.0.2 enables to charge only up to 70%, but I don't care - I just leave my phone on the night table with installed charger and I can charge the battery fully in the work (70% is enough e.g. to listen to music for many hours). I use my phone as a credit card too and NFC is good working too. For several months I have this SlimPWRcard hidden in my mobile phone and I am fully satisfied.

Seems to charge fine, although when the back is clipped on it leaves a small gap at the bottom of the phone and the back cover which could allow dust/moisture to potentially get in. This is not an issue if it is put in a case, but I planned on using the phone "nude".

Charging drops out constantly - not fit for use. The official Samsung replacement back cover is the only reliable method of updating the Alpha to use Qi .. it's also cheaper at the moment.

Bought this so I could wirelessly charge my Alpha and its been great, charging 100% every time, but the phone firmware was upgraded recently and like the other reviewer, it will only charge to 70% now. I suspect this is a samsung safety or default setting but I've no idea how to change it!

My phone was not charging though the charge port so I thought I give wireless a go glad much cheer then new phone

Gets hot and stops charging around 75%.

Sellers description is incomplete. My phone battery is new, still wireless charging stops after 80%. I am shocked after seeing the performance of the Alpha SlimPWRcard. Battery charged 100% on USB cable. Its a waste of money for me. Promoting this type of product might adversely effect the reputation of Amazon. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Removed battery placed card over contacts, reinserted battery. Placed in a Qi charger and worked 100 percent for the past few weeks.Battery charge is equivalent to a 1.0 amp charger. Takes around 3 hours for a full charge.

Purtroppo ho dovuto restituirlo perché non funzionava:la base indicava la carica ma il telefono non si ricaricava.Può accadere che un componente non funzioni.ho dato 5 stelle per l'ottimo servizio di restituzione e la velocità del rimborso.

Si no quieres aumentar el tamaño del Alpha, es la solución, se ajusta casi perfectamente a la parte trasera del teléfono, casi porque queda una de las pestañas de la tapa trasera sin cerrar (la de mas abajo) y queda una abertura aprox. del grosor de la tarjeta (0.5mm). Usando cualquier funda protectora, ya ni se nota. Por lo demás, comodidad total de colocar el teléfono sobre el cargador qi y comenzar a cargar sin tener que hacer mas nada. El NFC también funciona correctamente con la tarjeta.

Une bonne carte, très fine qui se loge parfaitement dans le compartiment de la batterie. Le petit bémol est que le couvercle arriérè ne se clipse pas complétement en bas, mais ce n'est pas critique.Dommage qu'elle n'est pas fournie en base avec le téléphone
