Vent Motor Assembly Part # 85598000

Nicely done - an obscure part/motor that was available and came in five days. Its a great 605N Broan NuTone replacement, it Works! (purchased 01/2024). I plugged it in before installing to make sure it work. It is quieter and fit perfectly. It may be a good idea to size them up side by side when you get it. The price was a bit much ($80) in that you can buy fans with lights new for as low as $130. But the new fan motor was easy to put in and seems to works better than the prior burned out one. Not doing a new fan saved me from having a handy man put one in and reconnect to the roof outlet. If anything comes up I will update this review.

This was a hard to find fan. It fit without issue . It works well and is quite.

The new motor fit perfectly. The holes lined up and installed in minutes. It runs so much quietly. The best part was it only took 1 day to be delivered. Some internet part companies said the model was obsolete. But the replacement motor was found on prime .This fit my nutone model #668N

Almost fitted my older model bath fan, but this crossover style is too long. Had to return, will have to replace unit with an updated one. Overall, the fan replacement was quality made.

I either had to find and install this fan or replace and resize a replacement fan assembly in my bathroom for hundreds of dollars. Due to the age of my original I thought I would never find the exact replacement. I did with this one. I repainted my cover while I had it off. Now it looks and works like new.

When the blower motor fails on a bathroom fan you can either replace the whole fan or swap out the motor. In my case a new fan would require sheetrock work and an adapter for the exhaust ducting.I chose to swap out the motor. It is a little awkward to undo the two screws holding the old motor in place (see the picture). You have to work above your head. However, the new motor installed without further difficulty.

This part fit perfectly in my bathroom exhaust fan. This saved me $50 and the work it would take to remove the entire exhaust fan / heater combination unit.

Attempted to purchase correct motor - fan for bathroom exhaust at local stores. No success. Discovered this Amazon item at three times the price, but it worked. It had no paper work or directions in the box. If I weren't handy it could have been a problem. Reason being there are multiple outlets in the existing ceiling fan system. Took trial and error to remove and replace with this motor. It works now, nice and quiet. Very expensive. Hope I get the quality equal to the price.
